Let's move our best CH Osbourne to Left Side on his wrong foot.
I'll bring in my Stellar signing ElAbd to CH.
    I'll move Williams to LWB.

    Genius.

Oh and for good measure I'll say old Stellar signing was on a booking so very sensible to take him off.
The idiots will believe that, they won't question why I fu**ed up in the first place.

    Genius.

All this coming from the man calling everyone an Idiot if they thought Wade Elliott was any good <laugh>

But I do agree Al bad is a liability and maybe he's not happy and decides to move on

3 CB'S all right footed.. shocking managerial decision..

Glad he changed it second half, but I prefer four at the back

Nothing wrong with the formation, nothing at all. El-Abd has done nothing to earn a recall. Osborne, Nostworthy Williams should remain our back 3, Cunningham should never be dropped. Ludicrous! Stop ****ing around with a good team Cotts!

Cotts completly messed up the starting eleven, the bloke is paid well to manage a team, how is it every fan could see el ab does not suit a three at the back, moving williams out to lwb crazy.

At least he realised and changed it second half.

It wasn't just that are formation was non existent
    It could've been either of, 3-5-2, 3-3-1-3, 3-2-3-2, 3-3-2-2, 3-4-1-2.
Just to name a few which I saw in the first half.

I think we can safely say that Williams is not a wing back!!

Once Williams and Osborne were in their proper roles we looked much better

Please don't turn El-Abd into another Fonts/Kilkenny - he may just need time to settle (having only played for one club before)

Such an idiot in fact that he HAS MANAGED TO SAVE OUR CLUB FROM RELEGATION !

Bill Shankly himself would not have been good enough for you would he

Sorry RP, but I don't think you are necessarily thinking for the good of the club about this. We finally have a manager who looks capable of taking us back whence we came, and all you can do is slag him off.
If you are waiting for the perfect manager you could be unhappy for a very long time.

'We finally have a manager who looks capable of taking us back whence we came'

    I hope so.

As long as Cotterill makes stupid mistakes, I will, if it's ok with you, point out the error of his ways.

Cotterill has inherited a good L1 squad.
His reign so far has only proved how inept SOD was.

    That's all.

Signing players who are no better than the ones here or worse on more money is what put City in mess. Mr Cotterill has changed the clubs transfer policy to sign and play?? That is in no way good for BCFC.

Long term, I agree-but we were in bad need of a knee jerk reaction and a downward spiral does at last seem to be stopping. Now we need a period of stability and then start re-introducing the younger players.
Bryan, Reid and Burns have made good progress this season and that is pleasing to see. The one that I remain puzzled about is Wynter.-Williams, for only having played 1 league game prior, has had an excellent season.

As long as we do stay up, I think we have the foundation now for the beginning of some long overdue success. I don't think it will happen immediately, but I do see a return to the championship with a side that again is capable of punching its weight.

I agree about Wynter. I thought he looked really promising in the first few games and can't understand why he
has disappeared so quickly. Do wonder if they promised AEA a guaranteed place in the team for a certain time
in order to get him to sign. At his age he wouldn't want to drop a league and sit on the bench and we were
a bit desperate for a CB at the time. Odd things get agreed in football that you wouldn't get in the real world
so it wouldn't surprise me. Maybe SC has no choice on putting him in - or maybe I am being kind to him as
the alternative is that he is a complete ****** and can't see the problem that most of us can!

Any term I fail to see how playing a bloke totally out of form out of position makes sense. Its a receipe to **** other players off.

    Don't know.
I have seen some pretty rum goings on in the real world to be honest

    Agree on Wynter.
He did look a great prospect earlier.
Maybe there is an attitude thing involved, although he has always come across as a good lad.

Maybe managers are reluctant to risk their careers by playing an inexperienced kid in such a crucial position (like our defence has been so well protected this term)
    Oops ! Apologies.
I nearly criticised our manager then :emoticon-0111-blush

I think I may have misunderstood- Yes, I agree about El Abd. Personally, wouldn't have played him from the start. I do like Elliott though, and his signing along with Patterson was more what I was referring to about supporting players coming in.

I also think that Robin_unreliant has a good point about El Abd.s selection. Don't know how true it was but, David James was rumoured to have demanded that he play if fit.
