-Giroud -Arteta Those would be my 2 to be shown the door if it was up to me, with Arteta it seems like his age has caught up to him, he's slow and not good enough to be the anchorman in such a fast paced league. Giroud also needs to go, I don't give a **** that he's scored 19 for us, stats look better on paper, in the big games he is worse than a donkey, his play over the last few months has been abysmal, he isn't good enough, simple as that, I want a super quality back up striker, not some donkey. Who else would people offload if it was up to them? Cazorla and Podolski are hanging on for me, need to prove their worth, at the moment can see much more better attacking options than those 2 that we can bring to Arsenal.
Arteta's form has dropped very rapidly. No point getting rid of Giroud, we need at least 3 strikers so keep him as a second/third choice unless he really wants to go
Giroud, Arteta, Flamini, Sagna, Monreal and Vermaelen. Podolski still has something to offer. Our main issues are defensive ones. Been the same old story for years and years.
The guy can turn into another potential Chamakh once he gets dropped. In fact wait and watch for that to happen, until we offload him for like 3 million.
I'd keep giroud as a second choice striker. Arteta could maybe keep a squad place but we need a better player for his position. Cazorla shouldn't go anywhere and I'm pleased he just signed a new contract, quality player. Podolski is also a good option when searching for a goal, but he would need to be happy being a squad player and not a first team player.
Sagna should stay. In no way can we find a suitable replacement with all the other priorities. Striker, CB, Wingers (yes, more than one, as this Cazorla+Podolski thing is not working), DM are all needed though. AM is our only spot which is thoroughly covered. Giroud I'd keep as an option, as we aren't likely to sign 2 strikers.
Montreal is an interesting one. He hasn't looked good enough defensively when he has had opportunities recently but earlier in the season when used to close out games playing with Gibbs, he was absolute quality. He needs to show more if he is going to have a proper future at arsenal.
He's probably been the biggest disappointment this season after being our best player last year. Really poor performances, especially in the big games
Being played out of position. Which is fine when it's only him, but when both him and Podolski play as the wide men, we look absolutely pathetic and generally slow.
I'd add a striker, left winger and holding midfield player to start with. Then I'd look at what defensive players are available and the situation with Sagna and verm.
He's never exactly sounded committed to Arsenal in interviews and I'm sure a couple of the big boys will have an eye on him Especially if Wenger leaves
Arteta should definitely **** off. As for the others, wait til we get a new top manager in and see what he can get out of them.
Arteta was a player I always wanted us to buy, but we got him 2 years too late. Was vital that first year we had him
Arteta's just too old now. Flamini is horrible on the ball and has looked out of sorts (barring the City game) lately. Actually glad Flamini misses the FA Cup game
