Post all post match complaints, rants and discussions in this thread.

    Match: Everton 3-0 Arsenal

Shambles of a performance, no defence, no teamwork, no desire, no passion. This team is a joke and if we finish outside of the top 4, quite frankly we deserve it. I feel sorry for willing workhorses like Aaron Ramsey. He deserves better. I think if we finish in 5th Wenger will leave.

And might I just add, Everton were full value for the win today. Kudos to them.

Disgraceful, another painful match to watch, Wenger needs to go as soon as the season ends, he can't do it anymore. 20 goals conceded VS Liverpool, Everton, City, and Chelsea.

    Not good enough.

Absolutely embarrassing. That kind of stuff cant' be attributed to individual players. He's got it wrong again and again and again, and hasn't even attempted to try something different to get the team back on track.

If he really believes all of those instances were accidents not indicating something bigger, he remains deluded.

The thing is, I can handle losing. Losing is part of sport and it happens even to the best teams. It's the manner of the defeat that hurts the most. No manager in their right frame of mind can go through a season with 1 fit striker and hope to compete at the highest level. For me we seem to be lacking in even the most basic of skills, defensively in particular. This team's confidence is completely shot and we should prepared for the worst because I honestly cannot see light at the end of this tunnel.

Absolutely guilty there, Wenger. He had 3+ months to add decent squad members to the team, we were never just 1 world class player away from challenging, ever. We entered the season with the thinnest squad from the top-table teams, with the worst record of injuries.

You think he'd learn? No but it was more of the same "i believe we have a strong squad bla bla" when the club management was touting our "transfer warchest" available to Wenger.

You can check back to threads early in the season where this was a point of contention between me and the brave Piskie, toledo and afcftw (of the genus: Arsenal / species: fan masterrace).

What did he do? **** all for 3 months, and barely get lucky with Ozil because he had issues with his club.

I have finally reached my limit.

I used to make excuses for him, i used to say "1 more season"

but now i am convinced there is only 1 option left:

    Wenger out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No top flight side should be consistently being beaten by 3+ goals unless something is badly badly wrong. My feel is that AW has lost this dressing room. My honest opinion. If that really is the case, AW should leave and I'm not WOB I just honestly cannot see any progression in this team. I want us to progress as badly as anybody but there is no sign of change nor is their likely to be in the future. I may sound overly negative but then again, I suppose people were saying the same thing back in 2006.

I think the majority of our problems are from our DM-CM pair. Too slow and not pressing nowadays it seems. Also lack of a true Winger kills us on the counter as the times Giroud is in position nobody is quick enough to give it to him. Nacho was disastrous too. We had no creativity nor urgency in attack.

The sad thing is Wenger will not go, he is far too greedy to do that. He has signed an extension, I bet the club were waiting for us to go on a run before announcing his contract extension.

Not even Cesc position. Its bloody Viera that we haven't replaced. We need a CM-DM partnership that can switch from attack to defense and vice-versa with PACE and will press like hell and stop the opposition attacks. Ramsey and Wilshere can play the CM role but the DM role? We have nobody. Also this psuedo Winger BS means we have no pace on the wings too. So Giroud or whoever is striker is ****ed because the midfield sin't fast enough and the wingers aren't fast enough to attack potently with pace. That's why we miss Theo, Ramsey and Ozil so much.

Diaby was that player. Wenger's had more than enough time now to see that will never work out though

    I'd go along with this.
I noticed today that when the ball was played through the air and Mert/Verm headed away is was invariably picked up by their midfield who were more advanced than our midfield.
I don't know whether this was because we were caught out of position or whether their midfield just play 20 yards further up the field than most, but with such a lack of pace in our side we're not getting our shape back quickly...

Diaby would be like Yaya Toure if not for injuries so frustrating. I think DM and Striker are his priorities (if he does stay) and then a LW. CB and GK are squad rotation issues that less priority can be place on. I don't think we should overhaul the squad as that'd be stupid but we do need new blood.

No pace and no cutting edge.

Giroud was fairly useless again. I don't care how many nice flicks and lay offs he makes 40 yards from goal.

He is just nowhere near good enough in front of goal.

This was Wenger's attempt to replace RVP. Really??.. He is clearly f**king useless in every BIG important match we ever have.

I'm done. Wenger is a legend but he's no longer a top manager. We are currently experiencing another Brian Clough situation.

Didn't see the game today as I was out with the family for Sunday dinner. Sounds like it was another poor show though. Not good enough and several key areas need addressing in the summer. We need to identify our targets now and get them early in the window, even if we have to pay a bit more. Can't be gambling on last minute transfer deadline again.

The window of opportunity is extremely small this Summer with a World Cup taking place.
I doubt any business can be done before the WC as players prepare for the tournament...
