Oh, come on! Bayern absolutely hammered you at OT. It was only Moyes superbly crafted "park the bus and hope desperately for something to happen" tactics that saved you.

They have an away goal, so United have to attack. There can be no parking the bus in Munich. And the minute you open up - BANG! - you'll concede.

And that is how it will be all match.

Possesion wise yes but were not all that as some expected, and when people talk about "hammering" they usually mean the scoreline.

Great defensive display by United against Bayern. Just the kind of display that you would hope for in the AWAY leg of a tie.

Norwich's players have paid back all of the fans that attended their loss to Swansea, sending them cheques for the ticket price.
I think that some of ours might go bankrupt if they were forced to follow this example for dire performance, though I'd have to insist that their managers chipped in too.

1-0 Everton. Nearly ballsed up at the back, went down the other end and a saved Lukaku shot is put away by Naismith.

Not that I mind, but who's supposed to be picking up Baines' runs for the Goons? He's totally unmarked whenever he gets the ball.

The BBC Football website is currently running a feature entitled, "Liverpool's Path To The Title."

<doh>
Jesus wept!

Remind me, why is it that us normal fans think the media, especially the tax-payers' BBC, is heavily biased towards LFC?

Why don't they run a feature entitled, "It's £ity's Title To Lose"?

Oh, yeah, that's right. The BBC isn't overrun and dominated by Mousers and ex-'Pool legends.

Everton have made Arsenal look very, very ordinary, so far. The Goons are quite fortunate to still be in it. Wenger has to change something soon, surely?

I've always rated Lukaku. As I have said on a previous occasion, also, my Chelsea-supporting mate cannot understand why neither Mad Dog nor The Smug One seems to rate him. No way is Torres better than Lukaku.

Also, seeing Everton boss Arsenal just emphasizes, to me, just how far we have sunk under Sherwoodie.

This is a bitter-sweet experience.

The best thing Everton ever did was to let Moyes go, and get in Martinez. There is a gulf in talent between those two managers.

There are a lot of blue Mousers jumping up down, saying that we won't get Lukaku if Everton secure CL footy. What they don't seem to realise is that can pay far better wages than Everton, if we have to.

If Levy wants Lukaku, we'll get Lukaku.

End of.

And if all the loan clubs recall their players, what then for Everton next season.
No Lukaku and Deulofeu for starters.
