Borrowing from the comment made by sb_73 in yesterday's match day post convinced me that the subject would be worth its very own thread.

    Here's sb_73's starter for 10:

For me, it’s more like American Beauty.

Our early season results match closely to Kevin Spacey’s prosaic lifestyle in that it’s somewhat successful but ultimately less than nourishing.

There’s a lot of profound thinking throughout; but for me the paper bag fluttering in circles with the wind represents our tactics. Pretty but ultimately futile.

There’s a few bright moments and the goal seems attainable – played out in the film by Kevin Stacy’s pursuit of Mina Suvari.

But in true QPR style, when opportunity arises, the goal is passed up; it then rains forever and ends in abject misery and death.

Would that make TF the King of real estate who shags Spacey's nuts wife? We, the fans, would be Spacey's nuts wife.

There was a film made by Yoko Ono in 1966 called "No.4" that featured 365 arses, one for every day of the year. We've go so many arses in our set-up that must be in contention!

    Death by a Thousand Cuts.

Not sure if such a film exists but that's what it feels like today.

    Otherwise:

    Titanic.
    Death Wish
A.I - waiting thousands of years for something good to happen!!
Terminator. Serious terminations needed this summer.
The sum of all fears. Or should that be tears?!
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Too few of the first and too many of the second.

Liam Neeson's "The Grey" springs to mind when I think about this season. Relentlessly grim, but you cling onto the hope of salvation throughout whilst others fall away as the season progresses, only to be killed off in the final frame.
