The only people moaning about him passing the fit & proper test are not Leeds fans, scared this sleeping giant mite awake? In an interview from Mr Cellino he has said he will sack David Haigh and buy back Elland Road and Thorpe Arc NEXT WEEK So no more Bates and his mates. Already Mr Cellino will have done more for Leeds in 2 weeks than anyone in the past 10 years! Forza Leeds & Mr Cellino
Screenshot of the interview with the Sun here for those of us who don't pay for that "wonderful" newspaper please log in to view this image Key points: 1. Premiership in 2016-17 is the aim. 2. Buying ER & TA this coming week. 3. Transform playing squad. 4. David Haigh is getting fired. Welcome to the Cellino years
Morning Bucks, The news yesterday was music to my ears. I just hope that this is now the end of it and we can move on. The Football League / UEFA, you name it, have a reputation of lets say taking a personal interest in us. Nobody will be happier than me if come next week we see Persident Cellino the first. M.O.T
...and the kind of unbiased positivity we have all come to expect from the Daily Mail this morning: Football Fears the Worst after fraudster Cellino is given go ahead for £35m takeover of Leeds
Actions speak louder than words, and I hope he achieves two things he has control of in the very short timeframes he states: pay the players and coaching staff and buy back ER and TA next week and fire Haigh immediately. Those will see him a hero immediately. The squad transformation is something we see every year. Let's wait and see if we get quality. Cagliari's scouting network? Anyone can claim they have a great network - let's see if it is true. Prem in two years will depend on how they play on the pitch. And there is another team out there every week trying ot take the points, so that is the usual aspiration that we all aim for, but I don't expect it so quickly. But the excitement he is arousing is like when we took Wilko as we languished at the bottom of the Second Division. Her's hoping we do have the same outcome in two years
Before mighty gets here and tries to piss on our parade consider this. Mighty knows more about football than English and Italian law or Maximo Cellino. To put that in context he is a Millwall supporter. Nuff said.
Mighty is here Cellino won because he has lodged an appeal against his conviction Yes cellino now owns leeds utd and if he wins his appeal he can keep it if he doesnt the FL can kick him out He has already been found guilty Glory fined 600k and had his boat taken away what do you think his chances of winning his appeal ? If Cellino hadnt made an appeal do you think he would now own Leeds Utd. ?
Thorp arch was getting re-turfed (or something similar). Had Cellino already paid for that. It had hampered the players from being able to train properly as it hadn't been finished due to lack of funds?
It would only matter if after all three stages of the corrupt italian legal system had concluded before the fl had made their decision and then only if the failure to pay was deemed dishonest. (Don't ask me to explain that, you live in the corrupt cesspit). Money usually talkes in italian legal processes and he has lots. Please let it drop now you are boring us.
I seriously don't understand this idea that he could yet lose. If the QC has approved him on current circumstances, and the deal is passed before any such circumstance could change, then as far as I can see the club is Cellino's regardless. Otherwise the FL would be able to simply remove directors as and when they please, and other directors track records have shown that simply isn't the case.
You are 100% right. There is no retrospective action that could be taken. The process is over, it has ceased to be, it is an ex process. It is dead, defunct as dead as a dodo. Extinct, over. Even Yeung at Brum and The Blackpool rapist couldn't be forced to sell their clubs by the fl or pl rules. Commercially Oyston gave control to his son, and Yeung still has a stake at Brum and he is in clink.
You're like an annoying neighbour banging on the door every five minutes telling us to turn the music down
He will win the appeal but if not he can then appeal higher and so on,could go on for 4 or 5 years. But that won't bother us we will be looking up flights to Madrid and Barcelona etc while Millwall will be hoping to get a draw against Charton in a league 1 promotion battle.
I know The father O I Oyston estate agent transferred all his business's interests to his son in a failed attempt to stop his victim claiming damages from him. The FL or PL couldnt have made him give up his stake at Blackpool.
It's more like an ex wife refusing to let the husband have an amicable divorce. It's a shame that it is coming to this as we go our separate ways.
