    The Mackems are still bottom though <and will be for some time>

    Aye, and those three wins for Fulham, West Brom and Palace today were huge. The mackems are now seven points adrift and even if Norwich, West Brom and Swansea only managed one more win each the mackems would then need a minimum of ten points from their remaining games to have a chance of staying up.

    Suddenly, the Glow is back on :smiley-finger007:

    I have this instrument I use to measure a glow and Newcastle show as minus 20 degrees Celsius , looking for some form of consolation from the performance of other teams , what a pessimistic outlook to be stuck with. I think its time to give Pardew an eight year extension on his contract.

    I was at the game today, as I've said before I don't miss a home game
    but went straight from the game to work then we had to work in the Metro Centre
    which only can be done after 8pm on a Saturday

    had the glow as soon as heard the results on my radio (took the sting away) :emoticon-0140-rofl:

    I've just checked the league table and the mackems are still bottom. With a visit to the Spuds tomorrow things aren't looking like they are going to change for a while yet. It looks like quite a few of the mackems have given up any hope of staying up :emoticon-0103-cool:
