Bad photoshop. If people are going to use stuff like this at least make it realistic. You can clearly see the hand is a different colour to the kids arm and the dads forearm is the wrong rotation for the bicep to be where it is. Somewhere these two may have to deal with abuse as a result of this photo because some **** used their image to produce this. And Im not one for backing lowlife chav scum. Ive just had a closer look and you can even see the join on the dads arm ffs. As a dad the more I think about the **** whos taken an image of a dad and kid and done this to angier I get. How would you like it if someone took a picture of you and your kid and did this.
Yeah his elbow is on backwards and one can clearly see the join where someone photoshopped a forearm onto the upper arm. The kids hand doesn't match either. Anyways. The photo may not be real but you can't deny the events that occurred last night. They're not in isolation either. I think all fanbases have radical elements that should be policed. Not good enough.
I hope you are right that it is a photoshop mock up...the idea that an adult would teach a child to behave that way is awful. And if you are right then the person who mocked up the picture is equally abusive to use a child in such a disgusting image
The picture is real and hasn't been photoshopped. Firstly if you know anything about elbow joints you'll know that the elbow can flex to this angle, also the line on his arm is quite likely to be either a tan line or a process in the production of the picture. However the proof is that the man in the picture was arrested after this picture was published in newspapers and zoo magazine. He then tried to make a complaint to the press commission because Zoo magazine didn't pixelate his daughter's face as the newspapers did. The press complaints commission did not uphold the complaint because of the nature of the likelihood of being photographed and being on camera etc at a large sporting even and because of the nature of the gestures which were offensive and likely to provoke censure. Spot on mate. I guess this guys arm was photoshopped too. When you salute like that it puts te arm in an unnatural position and so it looks odd. If the image is examined close up you can see it is not photoshopped, like the one below. Suppose this guys arm couldn't possibly be real because of the way it's bent please log in to view this image When you raise an arm like that and turn the palm flat outwards it gives the arm an unnatural shape. The chav photo is legit

Wow, lots of twists and turns on this thread! My first thought was one of revulsion at the dad, then after it was suggested the picture was photoshopped I looked at the tan lines and elbow joint and thought 'Oh yeah!' Then after Piskie posted the link to the PCC report, it seems as if the photo is genuine! If it is genuine, as it seems it is, it is deeply depressing that this kind of attitude still exists in 2014.
If the photo was taken at a Liverpool v Chelsea semi-final at Old Trafford it would have been taken in 2006.It still doesn't excuse the father's disgusting behaviour though
Every team has idiots in it's fanbase, to tar them all with the same brush is ignorant on the assessors part. We have fans who are a shame to this club just as much as Chelsea's rogue elements embarrass their good fans.
I accept I may have been wrong about it being photo shopped as I looked at the link and googled the name which does indeed come up with the Guardian reporting it as true. I've got to say though that the part I said that his arm looks wrong though, It looks like his bicep is too high for the position of his arm. If its true (which it looks like it is), my wifw was watching a programme the other day that said a child in this country is taken off their parents to go into care every 20 mins on average. This kid should be one
thats why I called it child abuse...thought it was an interesting point you made but thought piskie answered it well by the good for you admitting that you may have made a mistake...way too many (on the board as a whole) seem to think that backing down is a sign of weakness.
