Should we go back and look at all of your past posts? At the time Boruc had gone mental and Davis couldn't bend his knees. For me Boruc is first choice with ease, even with his random moments. Davis is past it and Gazza doesn't know where to stand.
That's what I thought, or into the academy with Jaidi (comedy duo), Boruc, someone new to challenge and Davis backup is a good trio for next year.
I still reckon Gazza could be a good GK, today won't have helped, he needs pitch time, he will learn nothing sat on the bench.
Someone needs to get a clue and get Gazza out on loan if he has to stand a chance of being a decent keeper. This poll does make me laugh though.
Sorry, can't see it. Its not the mistakes so much, its that he doesn't seem to have the basics. I think a good goalkeeper should be one of our transfer priorities as I don't really trust Boruc either.
It is obvious our first priority when the Transfer Window opens is to get a decent GK in, preferably someone better that Artur even.
Afraid I can't see it either. Positioning is a pretty basic skill that a goalkeeper needs to have. Sometimes he has it but many times not. Might help if he wasn't a bag of nerves, but keeping is a confidence-bashing position and I think he's lost it. Shame, as I like his shot stopping and his distribution (when not nervous) hence my vote for him. I sincerely hope I'm wrong (as I always do when I say I don't think a player can hack it) but I don't think he's curable. I do trust Artur but I know he needs good backup. I'd expect MP to be aware of that as well. Vin
I think everyone knew that Boruc was our best goalie, just weren't sure whether or not he'd sort out his attitude and thought that he may have been frozen out of the team after the bottle incident.
I have watched Cody Cropper a few times and I must say he hasn't exactly filled me with any confidence!
Any confidence Gazza had went in the 3rd minute even though that wasnt his fault. He's still very yoong for akeeper but as several; others have said needs game time to get his confidence back.
