I've been kind of backing Pardew of late as Cabaye was sold with no replacement, lack of funds made available etc but he has to go now.

It's not the fact we're losing, we are simply not competing. Our result today was our 20th defeat by 3 or more goals under Pardew. No Premier League team should be getting humped as often as that, we have no game plan, no creativity and no passion.

It's Pardew's third year with us, we should be getting progressively better, instead we seem to be getting worse by the game. We are an absolute shambles and have been for the last five months. He's openly stated he's struggling to motivate the lads, that's one of the main parts of his job and he's confirmed he can't do it of late.

His post match interview will be all about giving a reaction in the next game, how predictable, how boring and how ****ing infuriating.

We did this a few years ago, believe it was under Bruce...

We got to a point where we were safe but also couldnt target any european places and the players just stopped playing

We seem to have done it this season actually in a far worse position than yourselves

Makes me question player's professionalism and pride tbh

Not sure about anyone else but when playing a game, I always have a desire to win, by as much possible...therefore do these players on ridiculous wages have no desire to win and are purely there to pick up the pay packet?

It would be a good time to replace him if that is Mike Ashley's intention. Give the new manager some time to assess the squad in the remaining games and make use of what should really be a decent transfer budget in the summer.

As this is Mike Ashley though I'd be surprised if he does anything. If he does no doubt it will be at the start of the transfer window to stall our required squad strengthening drive. It's just how he does things.

Would love Laudrup, would give everyone at the club a lift in my opinion. sadly I just can't see fat ash getting rid of Pards.

The bullshit and excuses will flow from his foul mouth I'm sure.
    He'll blame Injuries mainly.
It's not the scoreline it's the attitude and the sheer lack of passion HIS players showed.
The job of motivating them falls firmly at his feet.
I can take any kind of beating... as long as we at least try.
The bastard needs to go pronto, he's firmly lost the dressing room.

WE all know he wont go because, (A) it will cost the FAT controller too much in compensation and (B) he has achieved his primary aim of keeping us up. IF we fall out of the top 10, the slim chance of him being sacked may become a possibility but highly unlikely!!!

Agree but don't see it happening. He's lost the the dressing room for me, players look devoid of any fight.

I'd be stunned if anyone can still maintain that the players are still playing for him. They have no respect for him - probably rightly - and certainly don't fear him. He has to go but won't.

Really?? I cant see Ashley letting that happen tbh, as bad as things are at the moment, relegation = him losing too much money. His reaction last January when he feared we were gonna drop down to the championship, proves my point!

Never really been in the Pardew out brigade, but this rot has got to stop. I cannot accept the "we have nothing to play for now" excuses and neither should Pardew. If he cannot motivate the squad to play " for the club, for the fans and for pride" which seems to be the case, then he needs to go.
The players don't seem to respect nor fear him in any positive manner, so for me the writing is on the wall.
He needs to go and take those who do not want to break a sweat with him.

Thing is, it is not just Pardew who needs to go. It is pretty much all the coaching team and that includes Carver that need to go. We have continental players with a very English coaching set up. Never going to work. Either the players change or the staff do.

my point exactly....no ability in terms of crafting stylish effictive teams....all he seems to know is lets get some people who have slight defensive ability and we'll score on the counter without any pace. Need a new manager....a new manager could breathe life into many of our players and see them perform again

Mark Douglas got it right. On current form it's either 10 new players or a new manager.

Pardew's post match comments "we lacked a cutting edge" and "first goal was essential and we didn't get it".

    Pathetic.
