Come on then, let's have a show of hands - who really believes Norwich are going to survive now? I think we are gone after today, I just can't see us winning at the Cottage next week, and that is about the only game where we are likely to get anything now
logically no, but my heart stupidly says yes. Even though we have been very poor in the majority of games, I still feel that we can always get a result whoever we play, it's the default mode of the football fan, and one that leads to disappointment (many times this season)
I despair, our team have been ****e today, but over the season as a whole, our "fans" have been even more ****e! call yourselves fans, if you persistantly drain the team's confidence, you get everthing you deserve, I'm ashamed to be associated with you!
No, this result was critical and they bottled it. Visits to Vicarage Road and Portman Road look very likely.
Hold your horses Dave. As a team we have not been very special. Everybody has their views on this season, but if you feel ashamed to be associated with the fans that you describe as '****e' then that is you choice, but do not tar us all with the same brush. I am extremely disappointed with the way our season has gone this year, as are quite a few others. Not all of us will boo the team, so againt, don't tar us all with the same brush. To be honest, your post has pissed me off somewhat.
Not sure which smiley is most appropriate or or I would have included the "up yours" finger, but I can't find it!
Just going to skip over Dave's sanctimonious post... Rob, I notice you believe we will still stay up. What's your thinking? Just that the teams below us are even worse than us?
Yep. The Fulham result was a freak, IMO. There are still a couple of teams above us capable of having shockers, too. But the biggest selling point for me is that we keep getting a result when we really need it. Today, we didn't. Saturday we will and I think we'll manage it.
We are still 3/1 against while the bottom three are all odds on.I think the thinking goes like this: Cardiff are effectively down,Sunderland are seven points behind with fixtures as tough as ours..Fulham with a much worse GD are effectively six points behind us.Next week is a must win for them.If we draw then they have to gain six points on us over four games. If we beat them then that's it.
Unless we finally break our Fulham hoodoo, we are down. This was the game where the players should have come out, right up for it, been in the oppositions faces and chased everything. Instead they ambled about, doing very little of anything. Albion were literally giving us the ball time and time again, and they were probably happy with that. There was more chance of them scoring than us when we had the ball!
At least it has made people think! It was intended to piss people off! I'm NOT tarring all with the same brush, nobody is more disappointed than me at our season, but I realise that we don't have a divine right to be a Premier League team and relegation is ALWAYS a strong possibility, why can you not see that?
