Almost certainly safe with a 9 point gap over 18th place, 10 wins in top flight, already our highest ever points tally at this level, a strong squad with plenty of mileage, a class manager, and an FA Cup semifinal to look forward to, with a real chance at our first cup final.

    Breathe it in...

Which name? It would be beautiful and so piss of Allam if it was Hull City. It would make his idea even more ridiculous - as if you change the name after worldwide exposure like that.

Completely agree. A total Club effort by all concerned. We have shown this season we can compete with any team in the Premiership...including the two best...Liverpool and Man City. To see us in the Cup Final at Wembley and possibly in Europe next year will be the icing on the cake. Truly a dream season.

Not having a go at you here - loads in the media and indeed the game do it - but for how long will people refer to the Premiership? It hasn't been called that for years.

I really have to wonder just what goes on in some peoples heads. Best season EVER....highest place, cup semi final, great players ....
And what do I read ...."...so piss of Allam if it was Hull City. "

Allam is the reason why this has happened. He saved Hull City.

Just for the record.....I don't agree with Hull Tigers ....but at least enjoy the season that has unfolded .......we are were we are because on the Allams.

For me , it's SB and the players.

Great focus and application in the face of stupid distractions from the current owners.

I tell you what goes on in my head - I'm funny in that I don't like the owner of the football team that I have supported for 30 years saying he wishes I was dead. This SHOULD be the best season in our history but because of him it has had a constant cloud hanging over it as he continually embarrasses us with shockingly timed, shameful activity to get what he wants by way of some misguided ego trip.

"He saved Hull City". If he gets his way there will be no Hull City! He's done more to destroy Hull City than anyone else in history. Indeed he literally couldn't be further away from 'saving' Hull City. Because of him I have NEVER in all those years felt so distant or indeed uninterested in the exploits of Hull City, so I really do wonder if this is our best season ever?

I know one thing - he's our worst owner ever.

I'm opposed to the name change idea and I'm irritated by the embarrassment caused to the club by it, but I'll give the Allams nominal credit for the role they played in the last few seasons. Plus I think that the adversity it has caused has awakened in the fans the importance of tradition and heritage, so they've played the part of a good foil in that regard as well.

I keep thinking though, the old man maybe has had a few moments of clarity and reason where the rational part of his mind is battling his ego - he must think occasionally that if he hadn't tried to change the name he'd have the keys to the city and be universally loved by the fans. But probably not.

    False quote

He NEVER said he wished you was dead......so why pretend he did ?

He said they can die when they want.

It would be great IF we could die when we want.....far to many die to young

Colour it how you want, the intimation is he's happy for us to die.
