wimbledon took it past mildenhall but delayed the shot and mildenhall got back in time and went out for a corner. we were very lucky then.
It just doesn't sound like we're doing enough going forward. The defending is ok, but we've got to be more of a threat.
we need to keep our back line if we can because they dont let many goals go through them and have played a lot of games together. mildenhall and mcchrystal should be staying with us. however brown could be gone as out of contract, smith may go as he is already getting interest from higher league clubs, parkes may be off as clarke dropped him in clarkes 1st game in charge and he has lost his captains armband.
thankfully there isnt many good teams in this league who will punish us for this. imagine if we had a decent front line too.
just looking at the scores around us... portsmouth winning at home 1-0 vs hartlepool and portsmouth missed a pen. northampton winning away 1-0 vs accrington. torquay losing at home 1-0 vs scunthorpe. wycombe level 0-0 at home vs dag & red and the away side are down to 10 men.
if wycombe win against 10 men and we lose today then we all fall to 3rd bottom and 3 points above northampton with just 5 games to play. we must win today. a point is not good enough for me.
