****ing city. The next few decades are theirs to be honest. How can anyone compete long term with the money they have poured into their club and squad

    Discussed it before.

I'm firmly of the opinion that if play has stopped there's no reason not to. Takes as long to stop players whinging as it would to get a replay.

Or give managers a challenge a game or each half. If they use them up on silly timewasting crap then it's on their heads be it.

Having ridiculous decisions go their way helps too.

Don't forget the special offside regulation that only applies when Newcastle score against Man City too <ok>

Totally agree. What pains me is how the world opinion is yet to gain any momentum to the extent of shattering Blatter & Platini's inertia. Shameful.

So by World do you mean Britain again? :bandit:

I will say in the states they overuse the **** out of the damn video replay. There is a fine line with it but I think it could be done.

Them two dont make decisions for free mate....it just wouldn't feel right to them if they made a decision without a bribe!

That's why I'd edge towards limited managerial challenges only. Refs like in rugby would go chicken **** and always refer every decision if you gave them the power.

There's rarely more than a couple of big turning points in each game so give the managers one or two challenges to refer to video and only when play has stopped. That should keep the game flowing, allow advantage to be played etc but should cover, penalties offsides that result in goals etc.

As I say, if they waste them on nonsense that's their problem.

Yes, a limited number of challenges is the way, certainly.

The only consolation is that the Southampton goalkeeper is so **** he probably would have thrown the ball into his own net if it had still been a draw at 90 minutes <ok>

    astro another for you!

" David how important is it for you to keep the momentum?"

" Well, it is important and we have had some good results go our way away from home, the likes of West ham got the result and West Brom" So no Chelsea, Liverpool, City, Spurs, Everton, etc? <laugh>

I know too well. But deep down, beneath the corruption, both of them are just spineless opportunists who'd do anything to save their sorry asses, especially under the threat of a mounting tide of public pressure and derision.

So, it is a fu*king pity, the professional & public opinion has only whimpered, grumbled, cursed under their breath, rather than rising up with consolidated forceful opinions and demands.

Yeah, he's not great, is he? That can happen with third choice keepers.

Fellaini throws an elbow into an opponents face. Again. Unpunished. Again.

Man Utd dive for a free kick. It's their only shot of the game and the Newcastle reserve goalkeeper does nothing to stop it.

How's this for logic. A Radio 5 commentator said "City's decision to play at Lunchtime on Saturday had paid off as it increased the pressure on Chelsea and Liverpool" Does he not realise that it's the tv companies who decide when the game will be played and do so long before the table looked the way it did this morning! Did he not realise that we already knew that we were going to be the last of the 3 to play this weekend and therefore the pressure remains the same!

But then the same fella said "hart dives the wrong way but couldn't quite get near enough". There's no hope for some.
