You looked ok first half knocking it around under no pressure but Wigan don't close down all the time.
Well, I can't say we "deserved a point" as we didn't really create enough chances, but it certainly seemed like an improved performance. I try not to be one of those fans who criticise the ref as being biased, but his performance in the second half particularly was pretty awful. Our fans are great though, fantastic support

To be fair to you guys and what I saw of the game, I didn't see anything from Wigan that should worry us at the DW next Tuesday night but when you're in terminal decline we'll find a way to lose as we usually make it hard for ourselves! You didn't disgrace yourselves on what I saw today boys.
Well I thought we did deserve a point just poor goal keeping cost us,worked hard plenty of effort,as long as the players give their best that's all I ask.
Very industrious performance, good closing down & much improved passing/possession. Couldn't score in a brothel though. I'm a little biased, but believe a lot of it is down to Brown covering every blade of grass, snarling & fighting. It's infectious. I honestly think we should give him more game time, and keep him on for another year. We just don't have many competitors like him. Worried about Byram going down holding his hammy. End of season for him? And no Peltier to cover. Hmmm.
Yeah didn't think of it that way actually. We weren't going to score, but we shouldn't have conceded such a soft goal either, and Wigan weren't threatening in the second half really. So we should have had a point out of it
We've still got Peltier haven't we? Loan deals fell through. For me Brown comes down on the "liability" side of the line rather than "competitor". If he reigned himself in a bit I'd agree. As for Byram, Kissa said over on twitter that we should have taken the money for him in summer. If he's injured again, I'm inclined to agree that in hindsight we possibly should have.
With what we have at the club, that's about all we can hope for. Put a shift in, didn't deserve to lose, Infact we were definitely the better side in the second half.
I felt the better passing was coming through the back line and Tonge to be honest, Brown just goes looking to get sent off and refs are looking out for him the minute the whistle blows, if he cut out the silly rash tackles I would agree another year and more game time
