Can't really see any results going for u this weekend which means pressure will be on tomorrow.

City & Chelsea both pretty much nailed on to win.

    Penalty to City <doh>

No idea what the defender is doing... just lifts his leg up into Dzeko's thigh.

Was very dramatic fall considering he hardly touched him... but the defender deserved getting punished because it was an atrocious attempt at a tackle!

Ref didn't have a choice but to give that. Waist high foot in the box, stupid defending.

Well it looks like Southampton have decided to not even bother today

The best we can hope for is a tiny bit of pride remains and they won't gift City +10 GD

After an appalling first 5 minutes Southampton look like they are at least in the game now

  13. He went down a good second after being brushed. Dive all day long.

Technically it was a dive because the contact on him was no where near enough to make him fall over like that. However there was contact and the defender was no where near the ball so it deserved to be a foul.

If ref's were good enough to give free kicks/penalties when people are fouled but stay on their feet then players wouldn't feel the need to fall to the ground unnaturally. However as ref's only ever give them when it makes you fall over players have to dive in order to get anything.

Nightmare, he would have been great for England. Rooney/Sturridge/Rods would have a great front 3

He completes an extra step before throwing himself down. Ref has bottled it. On its own it's not the worst decision ever but there's no chance it would be given at the other end and that kind of inconsistency is the problem.
