I only bought one ticket. I would never have thought to pay separately for each one though. If I'd had four of them, it would have been cheaper to do the 250 mile round trip to Hull to collect them.
I don't think anyone was charged multiple fees but it seems some may have volunteered them - still all to a good cause eh. I think this all started because it had each next to the postage cost on the confirmation email - a typo. The amount due still added up to a total with a single postage fee for all tickets.
Didnt their's go on general sale a week earlir than ours? I honestly dont think the club is doing enough to let people know tickets are available. Ive spoken to a few and most people seem to be misguided and think they've got no chance to get one. There should be a massive splash in the HDM saying "We've not sold out, come and bloody buy one" and in radio ads. Or have they dont that?
Complete tangent but that really ****s me off - what does 'strictly' even mean on it's own? Why do some programme titles get abbreviated to a single word that means nothing? You wouldnt say "oh I'm going to watch Match on Saturday night" or "did you see that meal made on Come the other night?" Strictly Come Dancing is a ****e title anyway. It means ****ing nothing then either. You cant just take one word from a film and stick it in front of the name of a programme to make a new title. It's like Channel 4 calling their archelogy series Indiana Time Team.
Yep bobs appearance on come was never going to end well. Vinegar strokes is a good name for a porn star..
Most people would like to have got their tix by now so they can sort a bus or a train. You don't want to be sorting it all out 3 or 4 days before the game when trains are all booked up, and the only available seat on coach is sat next to Simon Gray himself.
If the two clubs are only getting in the region of 30k tickets, does this mean the FA are also expecting about the same number of "neutrals", to make it a full house?
I think the system the club put in place was fair enough to ensure all the regular attendees get a ticket but the process has been far too drawn out, it's ridiculous that tickets don't hit the open market until 6 days before the game.
