There's quite a lot in them really...

    plain flour
    1/2 packet of frozen butter
    cold water (refrigerated)
    salt
    1 to 2 teaspoons turmeric
    1 teaspoon oil
    500g minced beef
1 to 2 onions, cut in small pieces
1 stick of celery, cut in small pieces (optional)
    3 cloves garlic, minced
1 small piece of ginger, minced
1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
2 to 3 teaspoons curry powder (use proper Caribbean curry powder such as Dunns River)
    1 teaspoon dried thyme
    1 teaspoon paprika
2 tomatoes, cut in small pieces
    4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
    125ml water
    1 stock cube
1 to 2 Scotch bonnet chillies, finely chopped

Minus the onion and celery, they sound delicious and easy. Might have a go.

If it's successful I'll be flogging them outside west park tomorrow afternoon, providing there's any left that is.

It is the recipe for seven of them, but the proper ones are quite hot.

    The Pattie Butty
    From the PattieButty Blog :

The Pattie Butty is simply a Pattie served in a Breadcake.
    Note:
Bread Cake - A circular bread product. Since the early 1500's, students from around Great Britain have debated and argued long and hard, for many hours, about the nomenclature of small bread based products. These arguments (or 'Mass-Debates') usually occur whilst drinking alcohol based beverages. The subject of these arguments can vary from Bap, Cob, Bread Bun, Bread Cake, Tea Cake, Currant Tea Cake, Roll, Barm Cake, Stottie, etc, etc. In the case of the Pattie Butty, 'Bread Cake' is the prefered term!!

Oxo sandwiches are surprisingly nice. Crush said oxo cube on bread* and eat.

My mate eats baked bean sandwiches.

Usually can't go wrong with a cheese & ham toasty or chicken & stuffing.

Iv'e not had a Doner kebab in ages, and i'm craving one. salad, chilli, garlic sauce....nom nom. I'm not gonna get it from that ****ing 'Pride of Hull' on Newland though, that's the worst takeaway iv'e ever used.

Happy Tiger my friend, please trust me, and never order anything from them, it's disgusting.

No, i'm getting it from 'Majestic',( it''s on the other side of the road, but not much further down ), they know how to throw proper doner together.

    I can't wait i really can't wait....Fish and chips though....Hmm

    Bastard what to do ?

    I'll probably go hungry.

Eikona in town does a good pizza, but just be careful if you're in there on a Friday or Saturday night cos you'll definitely get tinnitus from the rave music and screeching, hammered women that fall into the place.
