However the argument is completely irrelevant as they play in difference international tournaments with varying degrees of difficulty.

neither have been stars at a World Cup though and both have big black marks against them at World Cups....... again reinforcing their similarities.

 

Be reasonable, don't wash out the differences, and admit that Suarez has clearly outclassed Rooney in international tournaments.

And the so-called Suarez black mark from 2010 only adds to it. Ask Uruguay how they perceived it. A martyr's mark - they'll tell you.

They closed the survey because they didn't like the answers they got.

A number of our players are world class. Some are out of form, something that is temporary.

Lets be honesty here, if Messi, Ronaldo, Suarez etc played for united.... None would be world class.... Apparently

A few others who are off form who would be in the bracket otherwise like mata, Rafael

Mata is of course in his Chelsea days as hes been misused too often by moyes so far.

World class players dont make world class sides though. The league leaders have one world class player but are top.

United had a team for 20 years and won 13 titles. 2 or 3 world class stars in the side for tge most part.

Real Madrid has 1 title in recent times and a team of world class players.
