Not that version though!!!! I had those ( Italian Euro special edition).

Calf leather ( not as soft as Kangaroo) and too tight on the toes. The studs were so long and were hard to get to grips ( pardon the pun) with, would always stick in the ground. The little half fold tongue thing was a nonsense too.

Puma Kings should and always should be this.......

One of, if not, THE best boot I have ever worn. Fit well, comfortable, great touch, sturdy.

I wore them years ago when I was playing and they were by far the best boot out there, when I bought my kid a pair a while back he also loved them.

I knwo they look retro and aren't bright flourescent fusia and that bollocks but the comfort and touch were second to none! Golden slippers I called them, had many a great year with them. :(

They are OK, the precisions I liked a lot though and the 1998 accelerators were good but that Puma pele king was just tops.

    Cheeky Bugger! <laugh>

But given that the players who did wear them produced some wonderful skills make the 'worl class' players of today look more than a little silly

Copa mundials or world cups. Only boots I've worn for past 5/6 years. So comfortable. Had one pair which I just use on Astros which are about 4 years old and fit like a glove. Still nice and soft still as well.
