Why do they all have stern faces?

Are they aware nobody takes them seriously?

Shocking! You think our England team is a joke? They play with pride, passion and great skill every match. Our nation should be proud

What a moody bunch! No wonder the shirts are so expensive. Looks like the Air-brusher worked overtime on those photos.

90 quid? A steal for the shirt of our generation - the one which will adorn all future Mooresque iconic photos, with Gerrard in the role of lofting the World Cup high above the Rio sky! You will wear this shirt every day thereafter and the futuristic microfibres shall retain their lustre so that father can pass to son, son to grandson!

It's April fools day, it can't be £90!

Also Alan Brazil saying that he is going to conduct Ipswich fitness training! Ha! Awesome!

Are you suggesting there's a slight possibility that may have been tongue-in-cheek?

I think SMO23 is more used to the subtleties of the 'humour' on the General Chat section of not606.

I think "subtleties" is a serious misnomer!

I confess, Dave, to there being more than a small degree of mordancy within my comment.

£60? For a shirt that costs about 50P for some kids in a sweatshop to make? In support of an overhyped national team that IMO does actually always try its best but is just not good enough to compete with the very best? They have got to be kidding. IMO, £20 would be a more reasonable price (and even then that would give the manufacturer an enormous profit margin) but its safe to say I will not be buying an England shirt any time soon.

I hoped to get away with the first one by pretending to be using some third level sarcasm but i ended confusing myself now, so Tipsy wasn`t genuine in his comments about our national side?:emoticon-0102-bigsm
