Passed my Numeracy Skills test! Yayay! So happy!

Stage 4 of operation Emigrate to America is complete.

And I shall celebrate by renewing my WoW subscription! As tempting as Rust is, I miss the banter with my guild mates and it may go on sale at some point.

 

So... anyone got any reasonably strong religious views?

Muslims should be allowed to build as many mosques here as they like.

They don't eat shellfish or pork, so I'm out. Way out.

 

I think they should all be deported because it's only a matter of time before they kill again, can't trust 'em.

Remember when the Sunderland and Hull boards were full of comments like that? That was a strange day.

 

Some still eat fish, but pork is a no.

 

In my opinion, Humanism. Leave the deities out of the picture. We've grown up enough to do without them. Then again, do we need anything to give us a morale compass. Shouldn't it come from within..?

Being that I have never been into religion anything that stops all the crazy talk I am for.

 

Believe me, you haven't missed anything. Actually tbf, you have. Even as a kid I was impressed by the Church building and the Mass itself, simply because of the majesty of it all. Thing is, does it help to make you a better person, or give you the excuse to be a right bastard through the week, and be absolved every Sunday, after asking for forgiveness on the Saturday..?

I'm not the type of person who would end up getting addicted to WoW and spend all day and night on it. I'd just spend like an hour or two in evening maybe. I've played it for a while, on and off, and it's a fairly light entertainment which doesn't require much thinking. Good for a a couple of hours on Sunday evening.
