Bent has spent more time injured since leaving you hasn't he. Therefore, Bruce saved you money in letting him go (even though he probably had no choice)

Good luck tomow. Time for my dinner..

    Club spokesperson:
“The issue of Ji Dong-won was explained in detail at today’s Premier League shareholders' meeting and no issues were raised by any club.
“Sunderland AFC confirmed that they had complied with all procedures and the Premier League stated that the player was duly registered on the extranet system and in all other Premier League mechanisms.
“The club has never accepted any wrongdoing, but did acknowledge that a technical fault occurred and as such were fined by the Premier League accordingly in December.
    “The matter is now closed.”

Steve Bruce believes Sunderland could be "in serious trouble" after they were fined for fielding Ji Dong-won when he was technically ineligible.

They were fined a six-figure sum after making the Premier League aware they did not have international clearance for the South Korean.

Hull boss Bruce, who signed Ji when he was Sunderland manager in the summer of 2011, told a news conference on Friday: "That's pretty bizarre stuff that it's only surfaced now and he's played in four games.

"They should be in serious trouble, I would have thought."

Asked if he would expect a club fielding an ineligible player to be handed a points deduction, Bruce replied: "It's the first I have heard of it and it will be interesting, I would have thought so though."

Sunderland consider the matter closed and are confident they fulfilled their responsibilities when the administrative error came to light, and insist there is no ongoing investigation amid speculation that the relegation-threatened club could yet be docked points.

Ji initially joined the Premier League side from Chunnam Dragons for £2m in June 2011 during Bruce's spell in charge, but started only six senior games for the club.

He had a loan spell with Augsburg last season and joined the German club on a permanent deal in January.

Sunderland currently lie in 19th place in the table, four points adrift of safety with just eight games to play.

Well done Brucie - make a tit of yourself again - as has been released by the club, THE CLUB brought it to the Premier League's attention (i.e. nothing to hide) and admitted that it was an administrative error NOT that we had hidden anything - oh, and it also came to light in December you geordie prick - oh and it also has **** ALL TO DO WITH YOU. Concentrate on your own club instead of worrying about the one where you were sacked for being ****e

Exactly he should have said it was nothing to do with him and as you say he should concentrate on his clubs problems

But Brucie isn't obsessed they reckon. I reckon he should shut his ****ing mouth and mind his own. He can't resist, just can't let us go.

Were you blaming everybody else for your own failure though? See that's the thing, he wasn't made redundant was he? He was sacked for dismantling a good team and picking up 5 wins in 10 months. He turned Bent and Gyan into Ji and Wickham for crying out loud. Fans fault though of course.

I did not fail. The company re-located to China therefore everyone lost their jobs.
We had Phil Brown who had a similar record. I wanted him out too. But, I don't hate the man like you guys seem to hate Bruce.
Sometimes things work for managers/players at clubs and sometimes they don't.

You have had 3 managers since Bruce to sort things out and apart from PDC keeping you up last year none of them have set the world alight.

I see Brucey at our training ground. I will have a word with him.

    Good luck at Spurs

I think you`re being a bit unfair there mind Bri.

Bruce said it was the first he`d heard of it and and only answered in reply to a question.
He didn`t volunteer the comment at all and, imo would have said nowt if he hadn`t been asked.
Not sure he`s obsessed but it seems the journos won`t leave it alone.

That's thing though, these managers have come and gone during the time of the problem, Bruce's **** signings. On long contracts earning so much that nobody will take them off our hands. If you really think that when a team changes a manager that all their previous problems suddenly just disappear then you're backwards fella.

Nah mate, he can just say it's none of his business, managers do it all the time. Brucie likes the sound of his own voice and has an opinion on everything, especially Sunderland.
