lol at the Red Bull are cheating conspiracy guy immediately jumping to defend Mercedes domination and a severe lack of racing even with wet conditions present. If you're foaming at the mouth already at people calling the races boring you're going to have a lot of defensive ranting to do this season, at the front it could make the last couple years look like classic thrillers.
He's obviously forgotten the team his driver races for had an illegal tyre test last year, I'm sure when you got first crack and this years tyres it helps your development, especially when you have a commercial agreement with said tyre manufacturer to fit their tyres to your road vehicles.
What worried me the other day was a Jenson interview on Sky saying that 'at the moment we are a bit like jockeys, which isn't good'. I'm all for turbos, lack of downforce, and the torque, but the weight issues need to be addressed.
Red Bull may actually be better off with a test later in the season when they've got to grips with the car more. Will the teams testing first really learn a lot more than they did through pre-season? I don't know.
Come on guys it's too early to talk about any team dominating. We are now at the third race of the season.. Mercedes may be at the front now but that isn't the end of the development race. I am sure after a few races several of the teams will be much closer. And if mercedes don't watch out they could even go ahead, so there is no reason to say domination after just two races.
I don't think there's any arguing that the first two races have been pretty much caca, but I'm hopeful it will balance out as the teams get to grips with their cars. After such big rule changes it was likely one team would come out of the blocks way ahead of the others. The saving grace is that there's a ton of development still to come.
I agree and I too would like to see the other teams catch up.. Yes, I like mercedes, I lines they meant business when they started signing all those big guns...they weren't mucking around. But I don't want them running away with the championship. I want to see the top drivers in equal machinery battling it out on the track. I have said that over and over... I want to see real battles between the top guns in equal machinery, but in the mean time they have to work a little harder to catch mercedes so makes no sense just hoping for the best. Mclaren I don't know what is going on there but they have gone backwards a little and Williams, while have the speed doesn't seem to like the wet. Ferrari, well I don't know what's going on there. Had high hopes for them and wanted to see their two hotshots in real battle. Red bull seems to be doing their homework too even though the margin to the front still seems big at the moment. And I am really sorry for Renault. Grosjean deserves much better. I am so sorry for that guy. He really pushed so hard last season and was the only real challenge to red bulls. I want two see those guys going at it with Hulk mixing it up with them too. Who know, this is now just race 3.
So, after your threads and obsession about cheating you are a fan of the only team to get caught cheating in the last 5 years, and a driver caught, how many times? So obviously it's nothing to do with the legality of red bull, but the fact that Vettel has spanked Hamilton 5 years in a row.
Actually Mclaren was my favorite team up to 2013. But they are not really serious about racing it seems. I they are happy with past glory. And yes I questioned some of what red bull was doing. And I especially didn't like how Mark Webber was treated. I hope that they are not using poor Ricciardo's as the test driver for Vettel as it seems as though he is the one having all the problems. And especially when it looks like they don't want him to race Vettel. I prefer mercedes now but I want to see all the top teams battling at the front and for wins. And yes, I still think red bull was cheating with their flexi front wing.. Remember when Vettel broke his off. And they gave Webber's to Vettel?.. It was flapping so much you didn't know the difference between that an a cattle egret. Oh that's a bird...lol

Gone for Hamilton again. He really seems to be on a roll at the moment, hopefully he'll carry on the momentum from just a week ago. This is bar something going bang of course, but I guess that's the same for everyone.
For the first time ever I actually give a damn about GP2 as they actually have talent in there for a change. Vandoorne and Marciello are the only 2 who have my interest, that and Nasr and Evans, the rest are not worth remembering.
