Based on your two posts to date, I suspect you probably piss yourself quite often.

Unfortunately for you I doubt they're going to break the law just to save you having to wash your kegs.

Well Happy Tiger our time together is coming to an end. As OLM has pointed out the merger and creation of a new supporters trust is a complicated legal process that requires the consent of both organisations. If it happens I'll join.

My time as a City campaigner is almost over unless he does something else to wind me up. I remember a thread on CI a long time ago when EDG Wright questioned the business acumen of Assem Allam. Despite the masterstroke that was Steve Bruce I have to admit months of campaigning shows EDG to be right and me wrong. Something I now happily admit. Time is a great educator.

As I explained on the other thread I prefer my democracy to be in a meeting, not behind a computer. Nothing wrong with a show of hands and it gets you out the house.

I'd prefer the AGM to vote for the merger and the building of a strong supporters trust but my primary objective was keeping the name and that may well be over this time next week. In which case I will enjoy what little of the season we have left, which will include the semi-final and maybe even a final.

Remember, life is sweet if you do the right thing and don't buckle. The reward will come in those twilight years when you see yourself in the mirror and not feel ashamed that you did nothing and let it all happen. I hope your faith in Assem Allam is warranted, I suspect you'll be sadly disappointed, but keeping watch the space, time will tell.

    Praise Jesus.

Don't worry about me, my life is always sweet, and has been for a very long time. Takes more than a small group of luddites to spoil that for me. No, I haven't buckled, despite the concerted nasty and vile campaign being run on these forums. Despite them, yes, I do have a sweet life and I am doing the right thing.

Considering the clique that will be in attendance at your meeting, you don't need to try and fool anyone that the result isn't already nailed on. I actually feel sorry for you in that you never managed to get more than the 1800 you did, although I guess numbers are irrelevant to you, as shown quite clearly by a room making a decision that everyone could easily have had a say in. I prefer my democracy to include everyone, not just a select few. CTWD was never about the interests of the majority, it was always a small self serving group stuck in the past, and I don't see that changing. Still each to their own eh?

I will continue in my wish that the rebranded and renamed CTWD has zero impact on the running of the club, and I will do that with a smile on my face, and without buckling under with the abuse and personal attacks that seem to be de rigeur from CTWD. I will of course carry on taking the piss that you've undergone a name change to try and gain more success.

I'd like to say its been a pleasure, but I always feel the need to have a wash after reading your posts.

As I discovered previously, his head is as empty as a eunuchs underpants.

Stop giving him the (wasted) time reading his posts and replying to them and he'll get bored and go away.
