Don't forget Savo Milosevic who went onto star in Spain. Although special mention for Rebrov, whos career we destroyed!

Rebrov will be the bane of Tottenham. Such promise, the hope of having the "Tottenham Shevchenko" but ended up being the Ukrainian Rasiak!

It didn't help that we signed a player who's 5'8" and likes the ball played to feet, so Graham decided that made him the perfect candidate to be the target man up front.

Was he the striker that ducked out of a header away to Palace because he was scared of getting hurt? Even though he just had to stand still and he would have scored!

Do you mean Dong-won or Rasiak? That strikes me as a Rasiak move

No, just that he was **** so no one cares. We only picked up one point in the games he played and were getting beat 0-2 by MK Dons in the 2nd round of the league cup when he was dragged off for being ****e. If we had picked up a load of points with him in the team or he had by some miracle showed some decent form I think we would have been docked points.

'' The Black Cats have scored a league-high 46.4% of their goals from set pieces this season. ''

    Worrying stat.

One step back to go 2 forward.
A worthless win tonight , with another crap selection ad void of a hint of style is another bitter pill.
Sherwoods effort over ability football is from the Dark Ages .
The worse central midfield pairing of Benty, Siggy, is unwatchable.
Well lets see how we plod and puff away tonight.

Any thoughts on how you lads will set up tonight?

Seems we are looking at a 5-3-2 with Johnson & Borini up front with Ki just off them.

A clear sign we are gonna try, and likely fail, to win at least..

Boringly probably. We'll put out a team that looks exciting on paper who will then look like the least creative team ever fielded when the game actually starts

Lennon as a target man, Soldado in goal sounds creative, go for that...

Just let us win like, you know you lads like Gus ;)

I wouldn't bet against us "letting" you win even if it isn't totally intentional :(

Badly, if recent team selections are anything to go by.

I'd pick Lloris; Naughton, Kaboul, Dawson, Rose; Sandro; Lennon, Paulinho, Eriksen, Chadli; Adebayor.
Sherwood will go with Lloris; Naughton, Kaboul, Dawson, Rose; Sigurdsson, Bentaleb; Lennon, Chadli, Eriksen; Adebayor, probably.
Johnson will get a free run at Rose, as he'll have no cover on his side and nobody shielding the back line, so you should have a good chance, assuming he starts.

Why would Gus put 5 at the back? We can't score.

The way we've set up last couple is with the 2 wing backs pressing high, it worked well second half v Liverpool, and we had 20-odd shots on goal v West Ham, it's actually very attacking minded, contrary to how it sounds.

I can't for the life of me see what Italian international Giaccherini has done wrong, he's 3rd top scorer, he can actually pass, he can actually find space, can't get near a game.
