http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tml?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490 Fantastic news, especially on De Gea, i'm glad Moyes wants to keep him, he's been our best player this season.
I think majority of fans will think this is great news. De Gea, fair enough as he's quality. The rest are not good enough for Man Utd, hence me suggesting everyone else being happy for you to sign them up
Your calling Jones crap, good god, if he was that s hit, how come you lot wanted to sign him in 2011 then.
Feel free to point out where I said he was crap. I said he's not good enough. Just because Liverpool were interested (at a time when we bought Adam, Downing, Carroll, etc) doesn't mean he was good!
not good enough does mean crap you know, on Jones, a lot of clubs were after him, i'm glad he chose us, i can see him being our and England's captain in a few years times.
Harsh on Welbeck and Jones IMO. Welbeck is a good utility player, and Jones has lots of potential, the coaches just need to pick a position to keep him in and let him develop there before he ends up as another John O'shea.
No it doesn't. It means they are not good enough. Sturridge wasn't good enough for Chelsea or Man City, is he crap? Berbativ for you goes but he gave Fulham a couple of good seasons.
I agree on it being harsh on Welbeck as I like the lad but is he seriously good enough for Man Utd and their expectations? I agree Jones needs focus too, I just don't see him specialising in one position.
You sold him as "not good enough" matth, that was the point of my comment. I said he was a good player despite him being deemed "not good enough". Ie, I didn't call Jones crap, I said he's not good enough for Man Utd.
Oh right, my bad, I stand corrected. Just before I go though, didn't the same guy think Moyes would be a good appointment...?
Haven't you said that you think he should go though? Although you probably want him too stay, if he goes and they replace him with someone good then it won't do your team much good. #chelsea #chav #ChelseaMatth
A bit like you lot with Rodgers, this time last year, a lot of your fans wanted him out. #hypocrites.
Care too give examples? I for one didn't want him out and I can't remember any of the 606 lot wanting him out either, so if you can provide proof then fair enough. Btw you didn't deny the fact that not long ago you wanted him out.
Personally, I'm happy to have Jones and Welbeck. Jones in particular, has been excellent in the DM role. The game against Arsenal he won us the match imo. But as a result of playing him in midfield, his CB development suffered, and bcos he's been put back to CB moreso over the last 2 months, everybody now judges him on that, which is a discredit to his season. Anyone who's watched him all season will know what I'm talking about. Welbeck I like. There's a real question mark over his finishing BUT there are a few things he is worth keeping for. He can hold the ball up and bring others into play, he has pace, he's versatile. But the thing I think he doesn't get enough credit for, is trying to be different. He's willing to be expressive and try new things.... things you expect of forwards on the continent which we lack generally in the English game. Yeh he'll sometimes fck it up, but I like the fact there's an English forward like him in the prem.
Agree with you on both players, if Welbeck can improve on his finishing, then we'll have a top player on our hands.
You are talking about players at two ends of a scale. Berbatov had been good enough but was in decline when we sold him, Welbeck and Jones may not be good enough yet but show signs they will get there (Jones needs to be settled at centre half and will get the chance next season to prove himself once Vidic and Ferdinand are gone).
