I could make a claim its something interesting, but i'm afraid its just my ridiculous initials.

As Wakey used to reckon on the old 606, it was to do with Run DMC, unfortunately not.

Good morning from an overcast Bardsey.
I hope that MC is successful today we deserve a bit of luck but usually being Leeds it doesn't pan out that way for some reasonI just hope we can irradicate the cancer in the club that means the ultimate demise of BATES I still think he his in the background albeit with the ownership of the ground which gives a return of 20% to whoever owns it and TA

One reason I suspect they wouldn't deal with Farnan, no job for the snake Haigh

    Morning all <ok>

Hoping for some good news after that unexpected flurry of activity and interviews yesterday evening!

I'll be making a match thread for Saturday but can't promise what time it will appear today, have a lot on at the minute!

Morning all - I confess to not knowing an awful lot about the Farnan guy, not sure if it would be good to have him involved or not alongside Cellino.

Either way it has to be better than GFH so although I would like to believe we might have some good news around the corner I am not going to count any chickens just yet, this year has been a complete farce and it would be nice to end with a positive outlook towards next season.

Quite right ristac. As I posted earlier, there is a long list of to dos for any new regime. I will be glad to see any new owners that will help save our great institution that is Leeds United, but new ones will only earn my respect as they actually tick off the jobs on the to do list. Im not interested in or will be fooled by promises. 52 years on this planet has taught me that and GFH Bates didn't help either

If Cellino wins Haigh will be MD, but if Farnam/Cellino step in it will probably mean Adam Pearson as MD (No bad thing) and Haigh on the scrapheap because he was kicked out of GFH Capital due to his underhand dealings trying to wrest the club from under their noses.

Cellino has his shares and can sell his 75% to whoever he likes GFH wouldn't have a say.

    GFH own 10% share
    IIB (Noodleman) 15%
    Cellino 75%

Cellino goes in with Together Leeds gives his sons a few shares too :)

Then the leeds united fans buy the rest of gfh/iib shares.

    If Carlsberg did takeovers :)

Farnan confirmed on Sky Sports last night his Chairman will be Gary Verity.

whatever happens can't see Haigh being anywhere near the club.

And if he carries on suing (attempting to) individual fans he is gonna cause some real problems for himself

As we understand it, the first plan for Cellino/Together Leeds is that he wins his appeal and they buy in together up to 75 per cent.

Either way, DH is gone. MC's unwitting interview tells one all one needs to know about that.

My worst fear is that they'll take a leaf out of shows on the telly, and announce at 6pm " And the winner is ....", followed by silence for about 3 weeks. <doh>

Has to be a positive surely??? If it was a failed attempt it would have been a straight forward no. The delay suggests something is being cooked up that will keep everyone happy and now solicitors and legal guys are going through it for all involved.
