Ha ha, what a coincidence. I bought his anthology when I was back in London last week, mostly because his name kept improbably arising on the takeover thread. Good stuff, although I think with a three disc CD, I've got more tan enough for one lifetime, as I generally veer back to Japan and David Sylvian every two days or so. I love Limehouse Blues though!

He was a Belgian Gypsy. When he was 18 his caravan caught fire, he was nearly killed and he lost the use of two fingers on his left hand, which makes his guitar playing even more amazing. Checked him out yet?
