Could see the massive ploom of dark grey smoke from my office window. It's gone now though so they must have put it out.

Am I the only person who thinks this whole Clegg v Farage thing is being overpublicised? You've got the smallest of the so called big three parties in a debate with a party which is perhaps best described as the BNP but without the neo-Nazi overtones.

Then again, politics isn't exactly my strong point and finding a party I would happily vote for is extremely difficult.

It could work if the proponents of either position included both sides of the debate in their argument before suggesting why their side is the best with reference to both sides of the debate. In any university level essay you consider both sides of the argument before coming to a conclusion. Why should a politician making an argument in favour of a particular position (in or out of Europe for example) be any different? Their argument would sound a lot more credible if they did. As it stands, Clegg can see nothing wrong with the EU and Farage can see nothing right with it. But hey, why have a reasonable debate like that when you can imply that your opponent wants to turn country into a country where women are subservient to men and know their place or wants to bring back the Shilling.
