Not sure if anyones interested as my last thread has so far been a tumbleweed.. but update on this report:

Cardiff City are distancing themselves from reports the Bluebirds were set to swoop for Brazilian striker Willyan.

Portuguese media outlet Record had claimed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was ready to shell out £1.5m for the Beira-Mar frontman before loaning him back to the second-tier side as part of a new partnership between the clubs.

Yet WalesOnline has been told there is no truth in either the link with the 20-year-old – full name Willyan da Silva Barbosa – or the claims of a tie-up between Cardiff and the Aveiro-based Segunda outfit.

Willyan's agent, Omar Scafuro, had made the claims to Record while also stating the deal would be the start of a new co-operation between Beira-Mar and Cardiff.

Yet information in South Wales suggests there is little in either of the claims.

Cardiff have begun planning their transfer activity for next term with a deal for Real Valladolid Javi Guerra already in the pipeline.

jay its not u dude its the forum gone, and its typical of the current climate of our club and its splintered group of fans.........does anyone else feel in limbo missing the club it grew up with.....I do and nothing gets me going with Cardiff city anymore its a very strange feeling tbh.......................why every bugger else doesn't bother 2 post anymore is beyond me because they craved for footy talk and there has been plenty 2 talk about of late but no takers just watchers.

anyway any Brazilian is better than what Europe has 2 offer, so here`s hoping

the greatest ever Brazilian match that got televised FACT(daiswan fact)

    There...said it

But Abers' right...every forum is either anti Malky or Anti Tan....oh for a pro-Cardiff City forum instead of all this childish negativity?

God forbid someone goes on a forum and finds people with a different opinion to theirs.........

Having an issue with the way someone spent the biggest budget this club has ever had/style of play/internal politics could be 'childish negativity' or could just be some one's opinion. If yours is different express it and from my experience on this forum it'll be discussed, or don't, your choice.

No problem with opinions.....my point is that on all forums (not just this one) opinions tend to be polarized into 'anti Malky' or 'anti Tan'. Because this forum almost exclusively falls into the former (with a couple of exceptions) any opinion which is contrary to the majority view tends to be either ignored or ridiculed. This is the same with other forums which are anti-Tan. All I am saying is its' a shame that both points of view don't seem to be able to be accomodated on the same forum.

Point proved - biggest game in history on Saturday, relegation dogfight and yet things that happened six months ago are being dragged up at any opportunity.

This one: from a thread about us buying a new striker.

    Finally

    Its getting there!!!!

Easy solution to that whiffle, though I sincerely hope you don't take it.

I'm a massive Malky fan and that rarely stops me posting! However, I'm also a realist and I don't really want to talk/analyse our current predicament - it's already depressing enough <wah>

Ummmm, you brought MM into this thread not me. If this was a Palace match thread you may have a point but it's not.

As for the 'we've done worse' comment. How touchy have you got to be for that to not make a forum worth reading? It could be about Velikonja (papers reckon that was Tan not MM) or giving away Rossco then trying to resign him for 7mill (papers again) on deadline day.

It probably referred to Cornelius and the fact you made that assumption is because that was about £10mil we should have just given to charity.

I respect the opinion of people who think MM was the best thing to ever happen to this club, I agree in part that he did some great things for us. Then I'm not so unswerving in my support that IMO I cant recognise the mistakes he made.

If you want to defend him from the perceived persecution he's getting from this forum, put a thread up, the forum can discuss it (if you/anyone else wants to). Just saying we all shouldn't be saying nasty things about him or you're leaving/have left doesn't really achieve anything.

The "debate" as you put it was instigated by you on a thread written about a prospective Brazillian signing. There was no need for your swipe below criticising other posters.

My comment about there being an easy solution for YOU if you find this forum tiresome was said with the qualification that I didn't want to you to take it.

sparkey...my intention wasn't to be confrontational...however I do think I have a valid point: that opinion within the clubs' fan base is so polarized one way or another that debate is virtually impossible.

Also the quote you highlighted was in answer to a question aber asked:

anyway...nuffs enuff and lets look forward (???) to rest of the season. Leave the what went wrong/right and the why's and wherefores till then.

    Whiffle - I'll drink to that. <ok>

Plenty has been said on the Malky/Tan issue for now, but it's bound to crop up from time to time. After all, this season was defined by both of them - the outcome won't solely be down to Ole's half season tenure.

If we go down as many fear we will, posters will argue (discuss?) the reasons why.

That will be the legitimate time and not now when we need 100% support for these last half dozen games.
