"âThe days before Doctor Who in South Wales, there was nothing, I think the last show the BBC had on network TV was The District Nurse, which was 150 years ago, and so we started the talent pool regeneration with Doctor Who, then Torchwood came along and we were able to build on that, and then when this show came along, which is for all intents and purposes ten times bigger than Doctor Who, we were able to facilitate it, whereas if theyâd come five, six, ten years ago, there was no chance.â The first season of Da Vinci's Demons cost a staggering £60M and was directed and written by David S Goyer who wrote the script for Nolan's new Batman trilogy. The show was deemed a big success in the USA so American producers Starz commissioned a second season which is currently being aired to rave reviews. David S Goyer states that the workshop for Season 3 is going to ahead as soon as filming for the current series is finalised. When you look at Cardiff based Dr. Who you see that just two seasons of Swansea's production has already seen more investment than all that the time traveller has accrued since it's creation. And it is being made here in Swansea thanks to filming studio which is FIVE times bigger than Pinewood Studios!! http://www.denofgeek.com/tv/da-vinc...arned-visiting-the-set-of-da-vinciâs-demons
Yeah but Da Vinci's Demons does have boobs in it which is a major draw. Don't think Catherine Tate ever got her nubs out (thank god)
No hovering (not even lurking lurker ) - point out the last one I commented on pal, and I might see what you're talking about.
Why thank you Bony I suddenly had a warm feeling come over me when I read that. Either it's your gracious comment, or I've just pissed myself.......
