tbh I could see the affects of playing ****e teams week in week out in that first half. They must absolutely walk a lot of games in that league.

Exactly, they were walking the majority if the game, they knew Chelsea weren't going to try and attack, they got a penalty and hit the post but that's that. Psg could if scored 4.

Well this is it, Chelsea now need to give their all in home leg so maybe they'll slip in league tie before it

It speaks volumes of Mourinho's tactical attitude that he goes into a game without a recognised striker (or Torres).

Leaving their strikers aside, PSG did not impress me at all. They really didn't look solid at the back - given that they were not truly tested. The transition was so slow and they played themselves into trouble far too often. As for any midfield creativity, there wasn't any. At 2-1 it was Chelsea's to take in the return but its going to be hard at 3-1.

One anti-Christ of a football club vs another in reality.

That pastore goal though. Not sure what Chelsea were doing with that defending.

Gotta love Luiz giving away a needless foul and then scoring the og. lol.

Be shocked if Barca really do want him. Why are they targeting CB's that can't defend!

<laugh> Then excuses himself by saying this....""With Andre at least I know we have one more player to have the ball, we have one more player to associate with the other players."Football is also about scoring goals."

Since when has Jose's football been about scoring goals?

Got to love his explaining away of the decision to pack midfield with "one more player to associate with other players". He makes Fat Sam look adventurous sometimes <rofl>

Bet he's itching to the big feller back off loan from Everton, but he's so up his own arse he'd sooner watch Chelsea's season fizzle to **** all than admit he was wrong letting him go on loan.;)

I really hope we give games a go next season. I don't want to just give games up like the chavs and utd, defending at all costs and hoping for the best. I want to try and win games, not set out for a draw, its pathetic.

    agree sort of jaffa.

can at least excuse one of them though as they was away, and we may end up doing similar, what i don't understand is why you do that at home and don't take advantage of any extra it can give the players.

oddly neither are really out the ties though, as Chelsea can easily get 2 goals at home, and utd if they try can get an away goal.

only team i have been impressed with is real, i think the rest can go either way, although like to see Atletico get to the final at least.

I can't remember a game where we've been defensive from the beginning, when playing Man City and Chelsea this season we took it too them. I would expect no less in Europe.

I would rather be disqualified losing 4-3 than 1-0
