There is one question here though. Will Barca be able to freeze the ban in the summer while they take the matter to court?

I thought I read that it was for January and Summer of 2015 giving them this summer free? May be wrong, thought that is what I heard and then saw this morning.

This is excellent as they cannot now move in on Suarez!

    Hope they do Chelsea.

Nope, it is effective from now, and lifted next summer.

    Yeah right. :)

From what I've read it is immeadiate unless any appeal is successful.

  11. Reports suggesting that it only applies to under 18 players

I thought it was because of how they go about signing u18s (or have been)

The ban appears to be buying any player. They are apparently allowed to sell.

  13. A Cardiff fan mentioned it being only under 18s earlier on here and I've heard it on Five Live and TalkSport since too.

They're definitely allowed to sell. Otherwise the current players would be forced to stay at the club in violation of employment laws.

Deulofeu can probably go to Everton but he might not if the ban stands.

We all know they'll appeal against the ban and it will be delayed. They'll then stockpile a few players this summer so that it's not too much of an issue if it is upheld. Chances are it will be dropped and probably suspended and they're given a final warning.

  18. They already have a stock pile, they have a B-Team in the lower leagues too.

The biggest plus here is the guarantee that Rodgers wont leave us to manage Barca in the summer as he wont be able to sign Joe Allen.
