Lambie, you don't know if I am a member or not!
What I am most oppossed to is people spouting ****e, OTT cyniscism, wild speculation, etc. , and also people posting who are not mature enough to accept & tolerate that anyone else can have a differing view.
I don't agree with the name change but I can readily see both sides. Beyond that, I strongly disagree with the way AA has gone about things (understatement) but feel EA could be now bringing a much more 'enlightened' acceptable approach.
Anyway, as said, CTWD was set up, and prided itself on being a 'single issue' movement. (Which was bs for many subscribers). To maintain integrity it therefore has to cease to exist once that single issue cause ends.
By all means, set up a new movement, but for all sorts of reasons, for gods sake don't make it a continuation of CTWD!

Why would a CTWD member be constantly having a go at them?

    Call it an educated guess.

CTWD announced their intention to merge with the Tigers co-op and form a new supporters trust at the same time they launched their membership, it's nothing new.

    Spouting ****e?

Last week you claimed that is was a fact that Allam’s name change was nothing to do with his childish spat with HCC.

Now, perhaps you don’t fully understand what the word fact means, so unless you can qualify that statement, can you please stop spouting ****e.

If that's the case, it can only be because you want to. There's still been no case presented by the owners, so how can you 'see' their side of it when it doesn't actually exist?

Ehab is a ****. He's been drafted in to say less ridiculous sounding things than his dad but he's no better. When asked if there's a chance of a compromise he replied "Yes. For CTWD to forget about the name City." Any suspicion of him not being a **** was laid to rest right there.

I'm sick of seeing people saying "I can see both sides" without actually offering any explanation or reasoning to it. That's just an easy throwaway thing to say without explanation. It implies you think the rest of us are right silly bastards who aren't looking at the facts. I have looked at the facts all the way through so if you want to debate it then please do, but don't patronise us with "I can see both sides of it" unless it's going to be backed up with any evidence.

And they’ve all been going for years and years, home and away, – unlike CTWD members.

Strange how we got under 2k for a league match v Torquay in the 90s with such large committed and consistent support.

It's easy to see both sides. But first you have to take the ear muffs off and actually listen to what's being said. EA even acknowledges that their theory might not work, and he might be quite right in that, but it's clear enough what their logic, flawed or otherwise, is...... surely to even the dimmest on here.
As for the Council spat. Of course it's a fact that that wasn't the reason for proposing the name change. No denying AA's dislike for certain members of the council but rest assured it was not the reason.
And none of you know whether or not I joined CTWD. As I said, I disagree with the name change. I take issue with CTWD where I see fit, just like I take issue with AA where I see fit. It's ridiculous to pretend anyone is always right on everything but some are so blinkered or inflexible that they argue black is white.

Can you substantiate this "fact" with a little evidence.

You're a gormless **** - FACT (wrote "fact" so it must be true)

Sorry mate but that's ****ing ****.

Your proof of it's factuality is 'of course it's a fact...rest assured that was not the reason'.

Your childlike reasoning skills may actually appeal to the ‘dimmest on here’ though.

"But first you have to take the ear muffs off and actually listen to what's being said. "

Of course, only you could possibly dream of understanding all of this.
