We are supposedly organising several high profile friendlies in the Far East to make up for the loss of revenue. That's what 300 million fans can do for you apparently.

I would double that figure of £100m as well, we know we need a lot of work, like you say though, just depends if Woodward can get the job done and not fack about like last summer.

The money spinning friendlies are an interesting idea. When are they going to be played ? Pre -season ? If so, don't you generally do that anyway ?

Mid-week during the season ? Does that mean that your first team squad will be spending 20 hours or so on planes between league games ?

Not sure of the intricacies mate, was only a suggestion last I heard so I don't even think it's been confirmed yet.

I'd assume they'll all be played throughout the season, probably play kids and sacrifice the FA Cup to fit them in comfortably at a guess.

Either way, I don't envisage too much trouble financially NEXT year (after that who knows?), the big sky payment should cover up most of the deficit and we just sold 2% of the club for £90m which should help.

Doesn't sound much when you say it quickly.
