You know, with Jozy, if he scores a few in the Championship, he might carry that back into the Premier League, it's happened before, but no way on gods earth does Giacc stay if we drop, Inter were interested in January, what do you think he'd do?
He'll **** off of course, which is why he should only have been side as a luxury along side capable players who bed right in. Unfortunately we're unlikely to see a 2nd season from him. We signed a hat full of players who need a season to bed in. Crazy business.
I said at the time it would all end in tears with Oh Danny Boy. Hasn't even excelled himself in the championship has he? I doubt he could score in a knocking shop.
Yeah, I reckon Frazier would score goals in the Gus set up, AND he absolutely loved the club. Was a shocking decision.
The future players is Watmore and Ba, and why Watmore is not playing defies any logic. We can beat Spurs, Cardiff and Swansea draw 2 games and be safe. Norwich vs WBA is giagantic for everyone, as i reckon Norwich will go if they lose.
I remember Jose Enrique and Collocini being horse **** in their first season at the mags when they went down, both had a year in the championship and came back better players. Nolan too. A more recent example, Elmohamady who's doing great for Hull. Meyler and Curtis Davies to add to that. If we do keep a hold of any it could benefit them to stay rather than jump at the first offer from the Prem.
, Scocco, £4million for an immensly talented footballer, perhaps you may be right about scocco but we needed a goal scorer in january in a big big way, this was ignored and a 4million sum was paid for from what i see is a poor out of his depth player in this league, regardless if we can get the fee back he was not what we needed ,if the managment couldnt see this heaven forbid . The future has been defined by the lack of goal power thats been the case for all to see since the start of the season
There's no way we stumped up 4m upfront for Scocco like, surely not, it will be well spread. Chances are if we'd moved for Long, West Brom would have been demanding a lot more upfront. Ellis wasn't prepared to spend in January imo, we needed to but he didn't.
Very bad managment imo ,its like buying a plaster to put on a wound which needs stitching its not going to do much ,he looks lost and out of his depth to me,he wasnt fit and we was in a situation where we needed a goal fix not another maybe player. Regardless of the price hes just another millstone
I know Poyet said he was only preparing life in the Premiership but I think we all know he was telling porkies. The Business in that window proves it imo.
Short has seen money wasted by Bruce, O`Neil, and Poyet (Di Fanti) so it`s understandable he`s going to be wary, but there`s been no effort to redress what`s been obviously missing for 6 months. For Gus to say he expected Scocco to be ready by now sounds to me like he took a risk and got it wrong. The way they`ve gone about this has got me baffled.
