I love how we're debating over which of our teenage full backs has been doing tricks in penalty areas.

 

Our Academy is concentrating on making the lads comfortable on the ball. One coach said we want them to win age group matches, but that isn't as important as training them properly to come through into the first team. I was always proud to support Saints...but partly in that kind of superior way that you feel for supporting your local side...now I am truly proud to be associated with such an exemplar of a team.

 

I will have to find out where you live and come round and slap you....you are not American!

 

It has to be the way forward at junior levels.

 

Thing is, they're getting the exposure on TV. More and more commentators are jumping on the bandwagon and giving an opinion on Luke, but it's also nice to see that Calum is starting to stir a bit of comment and all of it is praise too. It's bound to spill over into forum talk.

I'm not disrespecting Chambers at all, I think he's had a very solid season. I'm just saying that it is funny that we have these kids at full back who have such confidence to attempt little tricks like this.

It's about a motorcyclist who likes to video his prowess on a powerful bike. Actually, the bloke is a bit of a twerp who just continues to confirm the myth that all bikers are idiots. He didn't post the video to warn others, as BBC News suggested, and the only reason why he came to grief was that he doesn't show enough caution on the road. He's a lucky bloke who may be at last realises that he's not indestructible.

 

Sims will be the next one to get noticed.
