I think he tries too hard to impress. It was obvious to me that he wasn't English because of his terminology and spellings and abbreviations like UCL [CL] and 3d [3rd] so I cut him some slack on it, but verbal abuse is verbal abuse. As G said, opinionated and stubborn, not a good combo!
soccermoms aren't that bad, it is the dad's trying to live out their missed oppurtunities through the kids that are annoying. EDIT: For the dads here, the OTT ones, you should know who I am talking about. Killing the kid for every mistake, hounding the ref, coaching (if it is called that) from the side, etc.
i have 2 girls so doubt i will have that problem, think they both want to to dancing, yeah,lots of money for me to spend lol.
Ya, youth sports can cost a fair few. Sports like American football are a lot too due to the equipment prices!
This country doesn't tend to do soccer moms - it's always been soccer dads [well you know I mean football] I was doing table at a basketball game once with a bball mom - she refused to record the fouls against her lads ?? even though I strenuously pointed it out Dilemma, do I tell the ref or just make a mental note not to keep score with her again, the latter.
