eh.... really the thing is balance sheet driven, is't it? 30mil per year payments could go easily in the amortisation section i've seen and the full amount in long term debtors and so forth. i would not care about this so much as it is traded on. if levy can get x then we as english champions and having an owner with kahoonas of steel can take cash and not the janitors they call players
Schurrle is awesome. But he is young so I cant see him leaving Chelsea. He must be part of their long term plan.

Having caught some Sevilla games recently, I think Rakitic would be awesome for us. Can play wide or behind the striker, can score and create and works pretty damn hard.
Signed a new contract I think to make sure he sells for a good price, think at one point he was able to get out of it or something? He also stated he has ambitions of CL and playing with a team that is moving in the right direction as Sevilla are good but a bit stuck mid-table at the moment ( like we have been recently). Just ticks a lot of boxes for me, very Nedved like player.

I think if we are going to be in the CL and want to continue to be in the CL we need to look higher. Those types of players like Berahino and Morrison, we can grow those ourselves and we already have with the likes of Ibe, Sterling, Suso, and possibly a sinclair to throw in the mix.
i agree very good comparison... i think he might have been a 18-20 but now is 27-30 so that was my assumed reason we might not go there... he should not have signed that deal in short. they've got his prime years tied down.
He just turned 26 on March 10th so pretty much bang on the prime and still lots of years left in him. With regards to the Berahino, I just see Ince and the same type there. Think we already have that at LFC and would need something a bit more special like Rakitic, Kono, etc. Interesting to see what we do with the holding mid role, if we buy someone or just stick with Gerrard and injury prone Lucas? Same with RB/LB and RCB. Do we bank on JE coming back, Illori back on loan, Kelly off ( has to be).
Gundogan for CM? Everyone seems to be flocking from Dortmund recently and he's been rumoured to be interesting United.
Very very good player, I wouldn't like to take Dortmund apart like that. Bayern have wrecked that team unfairly. I would have him though.
