Frankie Knuckles RIP

For any fans of House Music, this was the guy from whom the phrase was coined (from his sets at The Warehouse in Chicago)

Legendary DJ/Producer. 59 is way too young.

 

Never heard of him, but that is waaaaaay too early for anyone to go. RIP fella.

 

Sad news, I used to go to the free party's and raves in and around London in the very early 90s.

probably the most recognisable intro of any house tune, though prefer the Candi Staton Vocal myself

 

He was definatley the pioneer in house music. Danced in the middle of many a field to this in the early 90's

 

All I know is that he ruined some classic records

Thought this site has all gone a bit wearetherangerboys when I saw the thread title.

Thinking this was going to be a thread about a bloke who used to sit in the Q Block and about 30 years ago once threw something at Millwall fans over a fence when separated by a line of police… NAUGHTY!!
