Synthesis of tonight's affair at OT.

1 team took to the pitch, another side with red shirts joined them and did a lot of running about. The side in red shirts got lucky and scored a goal which broke the slumber of the other side who had grown bored keeping possession. So the only true team on the pitch quickly rectified the goal situation. After that there was very little to report. The side in red huffed and puffed and blew itself out - well it will be in Germany.

He didn't f*ck it up today, amateur Dave. Yes, he may not have had another choice but to play that way. Still, I have lost count of the dozens of times this season he has f*cked up the no-brainers.

For starters, he played his FBs very conservatively, guarding against Robben and Ribery at all times. No Evra or Rafael, but Jones and Buttner. A flat back 4, basically.

    Would've made Mourinho proud.

**** Off dickhead! It was a satirical comment upon the game. When you actually learn to read and write English then please comment. Until then keep stum.

Is that the kind of football that has them at the top of La Liga, ahead of Madrid and Barcalona with a +47 goal difference?

    I should think so, 18% possession and a 1-0 win :1980_boogie_down:

Which one of your players will dive for the penalty? Rooney? Welbeck? Hernandez? Vidic? Januzaj? Young? Nani? Evra? Or someone new?

Nothing wrong with opportunistic football. Simeone, Mourinho, and many other have implemented it very successfully.

Your problem is that Moyes, unlike these tactical crocodiles, is doomed to be unsure in himself and thus doomed to piss against the wind whilst bungling the zipper. Even when he gets it right, he does so tentatively. Must be pathetic to watch his tentative amateurism for a United fan.

Could be anyone, they all get into the area, a penalty is a penalty no matter who dives for it <ok>
