We made a terrible start, but by the sounds of it we were the better team for long periods and we did have a go. However, the old chestnut of our lack of firepower again became evident. Our spearhead Harrold, Gillespie, Clarkson and Beardsley have mustered a massive 14 goals between them this season. Says it all really.
Weren't we all saying before the season started that we needed a striker? It looked obvious, yet we didn't get one.
sorry about last night guys. its not been great my end since the weekend. when i got home after saturdays game both my little girls was really ill with a gastro bug which spread to my wife and myself. my wife ended up in hospital with it on sunday night. my girls are ok and are staying at the inlaws and my wife came out of hospital yesterday evening and stayed at the inlaws. since monday morning i been so wiped out that i havent hardly got out of bed. today i feel a lot better but just very tired.
i didnt listen to the game. 1st i heard of the score was this morning! thats how out of it i have been recently!
