Hahaha, and in one post we are reminded that Ellis is alreet.

What you gonna change your name to when your distinctly average RB joins Bayern Munich reserves?

Trying to find a "scape goat" or the "man on watch is always to blame" is not going to help us.

    Analysis after the season please.

Poyet and Short must stay for our club to have any future in the premier league imo.

Poyet made a mistake (and admitted it) in not starting AJ against West Ham, but overall he has had some very good performances from an average squad since he has taken over.

Hell, even against west ham, we had no creativity in the final 3rd, but are overall performance was better than west ham. Yes, even in the 1st half I think so. Poyet cannot be blamed for individual error leading up to their 1st goal, nor can he be blamed for the deflected shot for their 2nd. And seriously, if Webb had given that penalty, we would be looking at a completely different mentality on this forum right now imo.

Totally agree Dan -(with everything but particularly with the bold bit!). Howard Webb has made a large number of decisions against us which have cost us points and the moment I saw his name I thought we were doomed. I'd like him to explain the decision which could, potentially, cost a club millions. This is what is so galling about referees not having to answer for their actions - their decisions cost clubs - 4 blatant penalties have not been given to us for handball in the box now this season - all of them have cost us points. Villa home and away, Spurs at home and West Ham - 5 points in total if they had all been given and scored (looking at the final scores) How would the league look then?

    Marginally less grim?

But if we took out the goals JOS has been directly onvolved in, we'd be hraing the CL music at the SOL next year <whistle>
