I don't think there's any question that we keep him mate, there's certainly nobody better out there to take us on as a Championship club. I think a few of us kicked of last night in anger, when in reality we've long since known that the mentality of the players at the club is shocking. We'll take what's coming and go again, that's what we have to do in the North East.
Without a doubt mate. Just gotta good feeling about Gus still and like Yank states, think we will be back at the first attempt and with our own style, which is important.
Aye I'm a lot calmer now, I think last night was painful because for me, it was the realization that we are gone. We must remember though that we are Sunderland, and will probably win at WHL on Monday and get us all excited again. Endless saga. I'm going down for it, I always do, love WHL, and our lads down there always make a cracking atmosphere with the Spurs lads, love the steepness of the stand, even if the view ain't perfect.
What times do the last trains head back from London-Newcastle. Would I need to stop over in London? Might get a ticket cos there's still general sale.
2200hrs from KGX. Takes just over 4hrs. Or 2330 from KGX. Takes just over 8hrs, arriving at NCL at 0739. Conclusino- best stop over.
Would miss the 22:00 guaranteed and no way would I sit 8 hours on a train! Best look for hotels then...
Premier Apartments at Limehouse Docks mate, stay there every time I'm in that London. BA flights are cheaper than the train, or where 3 days back.
Nobody knows & thats why I said I would get rid of short to. I will never forgive Poyet for last night & my mind is made up sorry.
But you've said you are jacking it in if we go down, so we know you are a part timer regardless. I'll go even if we do a Portsmouth.
Too right I am & there is loads jacking it in to so enjoy being in a stadium whats empty. we be lucky to get 25,000 next season.
Just about sums up as to how daft folks can be, not his thinking, if he wants Short out , up to him. But how does one go about this, and replaced by who? It;s hardly a mickey mouse doorman company of hich we are speaking, it's a multi, million pound business, hundreds of millions, not hundreds of pounds.
If a football club is sold, it's usually done by the owners people actively seeking a buyer. If his advisors are looking, I can help... Red Bull Company Limited 155-171 Tooley Street London SE1 2JP United Kingdom Phone 020 3117 2000
No shame in having a hardcore, genuine, passionate support base of 25k. Sooner that that bubble blowing ****ers who 'will walk if this/that happens'. I've had a season card since 1987, many on this forum far longer, no terms, no conditions, just love for the club. If you care for something, you stick by it, you do what you can to help it. Simple.
Short hasn't got a clue about footy & if you realize he has stop putting money into Sunderland. just my opinion tho.
I do agree he's stopped backing the club, but he's been a fantastic owner and saved us from ruin. I do feel it might be time to seek fresh investment, fresh ideas.
