Boyd and now Sagbo, maybe someone at City has done something to piss off the FA?

Sky sports said Nasri apologised after the photo saying he didn't know what it meant. Bullshit. Wasn't this Anelka's initial defence? It's the timing of it that gets me. Why today? The appeal date is after our next game and would make him miss Wembley if they ban him. I bet they do.

It seems you can't get a ban for social media offences, so it's just a fine, which pretty much serves him right.

His other problem is that he specifically mentions Dieudonne in his tweet, so he can hardly claim he didn't know what it meant - "Anelka is a legend i love him is a best french striker #SoutienADieudonnequenelles450 ahah"

Saturday 28th December 2013 actually. Wba played @ Spammers and Hull City thrashed Fulham 6-0.!!!

Correct. Yet more FA meddling in matters they dont have a clue about. The FA are just that........F. A.

Long may it continue. ;) The FA have been pissing off football fans in this country for decades. How do we charge them for bringing the game into disrepute every day they exist. :emoticon-0116-evilg

the FA blew this all out of proportion - i wonder how many had to google or read up on this soppy salute to understand what it was , who it was aimed at and why it make us ALL cry .

How many more decades will the world have to appologise ?

I can only find a Liverpool Ladies player being banned for a tweet. Are ladies under different rules/FA to the men? I don't know but i hope you are right. We need him for Wembley.

Cont complain is Sagbo gets a ban but Nasri was photos of doing the gesture himself am he only gets a warning.

We should take the FA to court over blatant bull**** bias f**kery. This is very solid grounds for a legal challenge and I hope we do and win the thing.

Think I'm going to hang up my season pass at the end of this season, the sport is a f**king shambles of a joke and I can't be arsed being robbed blind by t**t clubs charging a small fortune for tickets whilst its ruled by this crock of ****.

    Disgusting.

Edit: autocorrect had a field day there

Nasri was pictured doing the gesture with a friend of Dieudonne that was then put onto a facebook page in support of some soldiers who had been suspended for doing the gesture. He apologised when he had been found out by the press. It would seem ignorance, or at least claiming to be ignorant of something is a defence that the FA are happy to accept.

Turns out Sagbo & Assou-Ekotto might only be fined by FA. Minimum 5-game racism ban doesn't apply to all social media disciplinary cases.

The fact is that France has took a huge leaning to the right in recent local elections.

Nationalist Parties have had some remarkable gains.

The 'Liberal Establishments' that have dominated Europe post-war are running scared and are using every weapon to fight
this rising tide of nationalism (also seen in Spain, Greece and Italy but under reported).

Unfortunately, apolitical sportsmen are an easy target to vent their fury while the real causes of this lurch to the right are poverty and unemployment, sponsored by
that elitist left organisation that calls itself the European Union.

This is a comment not a party political broadcast.

It doesn't say they can't ban him then. I guess we will find out next week.

Scudamore the PL chief has already stated that it is in the interest of the prem for the big clubs (he was talking Man U) are successful in the league as Foreign interest in the league falls away when not - and is a financial concern.

Im sure the FA have a very similar outlook , infact i would say Scudamores words open him up to Bias claims - something that has been suggested without proof in the past.

And the award for stupidest comment of the year on this forum goes to....OLM.

Don't forget to thank the rest of CITID for the award.

Baffles me that you can either joke about **** like that knowing how your comments will be viewed, or that you can actually support, suck up to and thank the FA for "making the right choice" whilst thinking they're actually that corrupt and vindictive.

Guardians of our great game eh?

Being corrupt/stupid etc. and making a correct decision once in a while are not mutually exclusive
