Yep, the Club of Bob Bolder, Dean Kiely and Nicky Johns etc, now being held to ransom by a non entity who struggles to even catch the ball.

On the positive side, Thuram has clearly played his last game for us after this outburst.

Send him back. No-one except Duchâtelet want him here at Charlton. Cannot kick, cannot catch, and not even Conference Premier standard. We got Nick Pope, far better.

I'm sure he will have a nice fine coming. I'd personally tell him to stay away from all squads - let him rot in limbo for the next few months. Then hope RD sends him to his 4th division German team as a further punishment.

    Absolute no mark.

At least it shows that Jose has a back bone and isn't just a yes man as some feared.

Thuram's career has taken a huge dip this season. From playing 59 games in two seasons (through a promotion) for Troyes, and being on the edge of the French World Cup squad, to being deemed not good enough for a 2nd division relegation battle

Dont care if this was Yohann Thuram... Ben Hamer or even Clive Mendonca... the fact that we've a player refusing to fight for us means he should bugger right off

Touch wood but how does he know that Hamer wont get injured again against Leeds and then he'll get his chance... Yes Hamer has conceded six goals against Burnley and Derby but at the same time we've kept four clean sheets including some great saves against Forest, there isnt enough evidence for Ben to even be dropped at the moment

Blows apart Roland's idea that you can just move players around from club to club, country to country, as though they were chess pieces. I can actually see Thuram's point of view, he was probably told that he'd be a big fish in a small pool, and that the standard was so poor that he'd get picked every game. The only person who's benefitted from this is Pope, who got shipped out to make way for him, and has now made a name for himself at York instead of sitting on the bench. Roland should apologise to Thuram , to Koc, Nego, and Polish Pete, who have all been sent here for nothing because of Roland's misjudgement.

Thuram has crossed the (Maginot) line with this behaviour.

A source close to Chris Powell said that Thuram was so poor he was barely "Conference standard"

"If you took him on trial, you would not have given him a contract"

Doesn't mean he wasn't put under any pressure which he refused.
