Felix Magath announced that Bent wasn't used against Everton because he wasn't fit. Bent Tweeted that he was. Looks like he'll be on his travels again, but surely that's his lot in the Premier League now, regardless of whether or not he stays at Fulham?
He's still a Villa player so heading back to the West Mids in the summer. He found his comfort zone after big money signings and England caps - no motivation now.
Just checked - He signed for Villa in Jan 2011 for £18m. Can't believe he'll be out of contract this summer and can leave on a free.....

Scored goals in the PL wherever he's been, still only 30, capable of scoring at this level for a while yet imo. His problem has been the move towards playing 1 striker up front, as Bent plays off the shoulder of a CB and looks to get in behind and will invariably finish. What he's not great at is holding the ball up and linking up play, as he's an out an out striker. I don't know why he's been shunned at Fulham, makes no sense, as they've got **** all up front.
Yeah, he's a good scorer, but I guess Fulham need people who are gonna get stuck in. Mind you, given the situation they're in right now, you'd think he'd be worth chucking in.
If he's on big money and his contract is still running at Villa, they will be lucky to get him off their wage bill.
