Some suggestion Luke O'Nien might be off to Sheffield United in the summer. He is out of contract and one of our former Youth coaches works there.. Be a shame if he did go though.
I will be fuming if he leaves!! We have one of the laziest trainers I have ever seen who is being showered with praise of late, whilst Luke gives 110% in every session and does all he can to stop and chat after games whilst it's as much as the other player can do to grunt at you. Luke also has more technical ability in his left pinky than this other players entire body!! But why invest in him when you can call Daddy and get him to finance a foreign player to come over and try to restart his career. It's much cheaper that way!

So who is this " laziest trainer I have ever seen" Dan? You may not have meant it, but your post suggests that Luke gets favoured by you because he will have a chat whereas others don't.
Luke only went on loan to Wealdstone on Thursday so not sure why he'd be on trial at Sheffield United 2 days later? There is footage on that link... Can anyone see him on the pitch? I'd suggest if the club thinks he is good enough, he will stay. It's whether the lad would be happy to have a couple of seasons on loan to improve. 'Only' going to Wealdstone kind of suggests he is not clsoe to Championship standard yet.
Any player who has time to talk after I have gone all the way to Wigan to watch the team, despite not winning away in months deserves favour. When you congratulate a goal scorer on his first goal after comming back from injury you would like more than a grunt back. Even those who dont speak English say more than that.
