I'd urge all non pass holders, overseas fans especially, that if they want to see their team at Wembley to attend the semi final and not wait for the final as I've seen a few mention they're going to do. Tickets are readily available for the semi final, and we're definitely playing in it. If you can make it, take it. We had just over 30,000 tickets for the semi final, our allocation for the final will be somewhere around 20,000 with 18,000 passholders to cater for. I imagine some tiny handful will make general sale but they'll only go on sale to people with a customer number who have already attended other games this season, probably favouring those who have attended the most. You will not get a ticket from the club. There's also this very common misconception that thousands of tickets are available via club wembley. This will not be so. The FA cup final is the type of game club wembley customers buy their subscriptions for, why would they miss it? Some won't be attending the final sure, but it won't be many and there will be a huge, huge demand for tickets, specially if Arsenal are the other team. Arsenal have a gigantic fan base all around the world and they will snap up the tickets as soon as they see them, as will illegal ticket touts who will be on the ball 24/7 to get them first, you'd do very well to beat them. I don't know when club wembley tickets will start hitting resale (OLMert?) but Arsenal fans would get a day head start. I think you'd be just as lucky to get a final ticket in club wembley as you would in the main stand through the club. There's also the biggest point that we are NOT in the final yet and could easily lose next weekend. You'll all kick yourselves for waiting and opting to attend the final instead. Wembley appearances don't grow on trees, take it while you have the chance.
Yeah totally agree. Sadly the vast majority of 'proper fans' - whatever they might be - will not get final tickets. On the plus side, Ive already got mine That's not counting chickens btw, if we dont beat the Blunts I just wont go.
The obvious solution would be to buy a £30 ticket for the semi to get a foot in the door for the final. You don't have to use it.
Because we'll get a very small allocation, wont we?!? If we sell out for the semi, half of those wont get tickets for the final. And how many season ticket holders have we got? Either way I bet there wont be a ticket for every season ticket holder.
To be honest, I don't think a semi final ticket will help you get tickets for the final, once season ticket holders have bought theirs, there'll be barely anything left.
Do you know when club wembley tickets for the final will hit resale? And how many club we blew tickets do you expect will be available? My guess is very little, with an extremely high demand.
I've just checked the Club Wembley site for available seats for the final and there's very little... East Club - 5 pairs and 3 singles - £309-369 Silver - 4 pairs and 4 singles - £469-619 West Club - 2 pairs - £369 Silver - 2 pairs - £619 Gold - 2 pairs and 14 singles - £619-£829 All prices are per seat. The numbers may change once the final is decided and more people decide if they will go or not(particularly if Arsenal get knocked out), but that's it for now.
So really, anyone who's pinning their hopes on skipping the semi and going to the final, should we make it, should take a gamble and buy their ticket now. If Arsenal get through, I'd expect those bare handful of tickets will be gone within 5 minutes of full time in their game.
It's hard to predict how much this will change between now and the final, I haven't yet put my Arsenal v Wigan tickets up for resale(I'll do it today, now I've decided not to stay down for the weekend), but it doesn't look like there's going to be much available, I'd have expected more to have gone up by now.
Don't know about you Mr Hat but unless Arsenal get to the final its not worth going Just to watch City play Bloody Wigan..
I've just put my Arsenal v Wigan seats up for re-sale and they've gone on at £519 each and there's a 15% handling charge on top for anyone who buys them. Mental.
Bloody hell OLM, I was looking through some sites the other day & they were 568 GBP for a ticket, programme & hotel room with train ticket from Marylebone. I think for the weekend it was just short of 700GBP.
I am not the sharpest tool in the box but IF we get to the final and our allocation is 20,000 (rumoured) and we have 18,000 ticket holders how come all of our ticket holders might not get a ticket ?, do the maths or am I missing something ;-)
No, they're only available to Club Wembley members, though I think there's some seats that Wembley still own that are sold through a ticket site(they tend to be 25-30% higher prices).
We have 18,000 pass holders and get 23,000 tickets for the final so how do you come to that conclusion?
